Chapter 7: Old Flame

Lisa's POV
When the four of us got to school, there were rumors about a new kid. We didn't really care much for it so we just hung out and talked until class started. When class started, the teacher walked in with a guy. All the other girls were practically drooling over him. Turns out his name is Kai. He's handsome but I don't like him already. He walks over to Jennie and said "Hey Jen." while smirking at her. She didn't say anything, but I could tell that she was going to explode.

"Hey babe." I said as I walked over to her and kissed her. She started smiling and pulled me to make me sit on her. "Who's this?" I asked her. "Nobody important. Just some guy." She replied. I turned over to him while smiling. "Sorry. Let me introduce myself. I'm Lisa Manoban. Jennie's girlfriend." I said happily. I could see fury in his eyes. "Oh so you like girls now huh?" He asked her furiously. At this point the class already noticed what was going on. "Jennie Kim. This is why you're useless. This is why you were never enough. This is-" "SHUT UP! You're the one who broke up with me. You asked me out so you could cheat on me and break my heart. I trusted you and you went and cheated on me and you even had the nerve to say that it was an accident. Was it an accident when I came into MY apartment to see my boyfriend on the couch with some girl. Was it an accident when you called me to tell me that you loved me? Was it an accident when you called me and told me you loved me more than anything and you wouldn't hurt me? You told me that you loved me the same day you cheated you liar!" Jennie yelled. She was crying. Now the whole class ran over to her to comfort her. I was hugging her trying to calm her down. "Ope. You weren't like this when I kissed you. But I guess this is why you were never enough. You never even let me get in your pants so I mean you were useless to me. So no. You weren't enough. I even had to get another girl to satisfy my needs." He replied while chuckling. "You're horrible!" "Leave!" "How could you do that?" "You bastard!" Everybody was yelling.

I decided to take Jennie and leave. Rosé and Jisoo followed closely behind. "Jen, you okay?" Rosé asked. Jennie was crying so much. It hurt so much seeing her in this much pain. I wanted to just go and kill him. "I-I'm okay.." She said quietly. I took her back to my dorm and Jisoo and Rosé went to talk to the teachers and other students. I hugged her and I could feel my shirt getting wet from her tears. "Hey Jennie. Look at me and breathe." I told her. She looked up at me. She was beautiful even when she was crying but I don't think it was the right moment to say that. In that moment, I pulled her chin up to face me and I closed the distance between us. After we pulled away she tried to get words out. "S-so you c-can t-tell that h-he's an old f-flame." She said while stuttering, trying to catch her breath as she started to tell me their story.
