I wrap my arms around him until he let's go. He wipes A tear off my cheek and tucks my hair behind my ears.

"You lied Rory."

"Huh? "

"you said you'd be fine, you wern't and I wasn't there to help you."

"you're here now and that's all I care about." I may have only known him for A semester but I don't ever want to be without him again.

"Are you sure? "

"never been more sure. "

"yeah? "

"Yeah."

He is beautiful and I know that sounds strange but the way his blonde hair hangs curly over his eyes is that exactly. He grabs my hand and strokes my fingers gently with his thumb. I fall asleep like that and as I close my eyes he puts the blanket over my shivering body.

When I wake up my Mum is sitting next to me and texting my brother, I can tell. "Where is he? " I ask

"just at home sweetie." says mum

"No! Not him,  Asher, where's Asher?"

"He just went for A walk. "

"Will he be back?"

"of course I don't think he's going to leave ever, which is helpful for me, I don't have to stay if he stays."

"Why not?"

"No moral obligation and your brother needs me."

"of course he does." I say sarcastically.

"what was that darl?"

"Nothing,  bye. "

"good bye sweetie "

He walks in just as my mum walks out and gives her A quick wave. 

Asher's pov
She is lying there and the way her hair falls in her eyes makes me want to kiss her but I wouldn't not now. She doesn't know that I heard the whole conversation with her mum.  Instead of telling her I pull her hair away from her green eyes.  They are the most beautiful green I've ever seen, they are dark and gloomy like A forest.

She looks at me and tries to smile but A tear spills over and I can't help but wipe it away. She touches my face and I  lean down almost kissing her but I stop myself.

"thank you." she says in A wobbly voice.

I don't say anything I just hug her and look into her eyes, those dark green forest eyes.
