"Who's that?"

Riley asked, Riley, Maya, Zay and Farkle were at their lockers outside their history class. The group looked over to Lucas who was chatting and laughing with some girl at the top of the stairs.

"No idea, but that boy does get all the girls,"

Zay said

"Do i sense some jealousy Zay?"

Riley asked.

"You're not human if you're not jealous of Lucas."

"Her name is Rachel,"

Farkle said,

"She's in the mathlete's. Just transferred from Texas."

"Texas!"

Zay said, openint his locker and pulling out a cowboy hat. He shoved it on his head and ran up the stairs towards Lucas and Rachel.

"You OK Maya?"

Farkle asked.

"Yeah why wouldn't i be?"

Maya said and walked straight into their history class.

The bell rang and the rest of the class filled in. Maya didn't look at Lucas. She couldn't.

"So what's Rachel like?"

Riley asked.

"She's nice, bit shy, funny,"

Lucas replied.

"She's a mathlete and a cheerleader, and totally hot",

Zay said.

"Zay!"

Riley squeaked.

He laughed.

"She was pretty, but i know prettier girls,"

Lucas said and he looked at Maya.

"I wonder who he's talking about,"

Zay smirked.

"We get it huckleberry, you know a lot of pretty girls, so what. I know plenty of hot guys you don't hear me shouting my mouth off about it do you,"

Maya stood up exasperated.

"What guys?"

Lucas demanded.

"Riley's uncle Josh, Farkle, Zay."

"Oh really!"

"Yeah,"

"Maya, Lucas fight your battles outside. Now!

Mr. Matthews said.

Maya glared at Lucas and made her way out of the class. She wasn't backing down.

When they were outside Lucas calmed down.

"What was that all about?"

"It doesn't matter,"

Maya said.

"Yes it does. Maya, were you jealous?"

"No!"

"You know what got me wound up,"

Lucas said.

"What?"

Maya said, leaning on the lockers.

"When you were talking about Josh, you called him his real name,"

Lucas said taking a step towards Maya.

"Did that make you jealous?"

Maya whispered because he was so close, this didn't need to ve shared.

"A bit,"

"Than it worked,"

Lucas leaned down towards her. She put her index finger on his lips, stopping him.

"Do you know why i call Josh by his real name and i have a bank of nicknames for you?"

Lucas slowly shook his head.

"It's because i care more about you. I put thought into our little game, and i know you do too,"

Lucas leaned down and kissed her.

When they broke, Maya asked

"So Rachel..."

"She's from Texas, i was trying to tell her about zay,"

"I think he's thankful,"

"Well you just boosted his ego by a factor of 100 by calling him hot,"

"Eh i really didn't mean it,"

"No?"

"Nah, no one compares to you,"
