Part (6) Parent-Teacher Conference

I grabbed my purse, phone, keys and wallet and went downstairs to say bye to Nat. Well, maybe not she's asleep now. I went to the car, started the engine and went to the school. Ary was waiting for me outside and waving. I parked closet to the school as possible and walked to Ary and she brought me to her class. I sat across from Mrs.Olivion, she gave me a smile which looked more like a snarl.
"So, I brought you here to talk about your um, daughter Aryanna." She said.
"Okay."
"She has a hard time paying attention in class and um, acts differently from the other children."
"What's so bad about being different." I say a little more harshly than I meant to.
"Look CareGiver I know your secret!"
"What secret." I say concerned.
"Drop it," she stood up I pushed Ary out the door.
"Natalie.."
"Don't even start."
She ran towards me right as Nat appeared. Olivin pushed her out of the way and slammed me against the wall right as she transformed. She was squeezing my neck in her hands. I always knew I would die, I never expected it to be at a Parent-Teacher Conference. My vision went black. The last thing I saw was Ary pushing the door open and yelling my name. Instantly Olivin let go but I already passed out.

When I woke up I was in my bed being treated by a supernatural nurse.
"Oh thank god you're awake." Nat was sitting in a chair that has been placed in my room like a hospital.
"YA I'm awake, what happened at the school?" I asked.
"Well, the teacher attacked you during my nap.. and she almost choked you to death."
"I know that much but why did she let go."
"I don't know,after Aryanna walked into the room Olivion turned to ash and vanished."
"So you just took me home."
"Pretty much no one noticed." Well now her death is on my hands... I have to talk to Ary.
I began to get up when the nurse pushed me down.
"You must rest."
"I need to talk to Ary."
"After you sleep, don't disobey."
"Listen hon, my life, my kids. I'm going to talk to Ary." She stepped out of the way. I walked out of the room and Nat followed.
"What are you doing? " She asked.
"You said when Ary walked into the room she vanished, right?" She nodded.
"Okay so I need to know what she did."
"I already asked she doesn't know either."
"Well, maybe she'll tell her own mom. Ever think of that." I was a bit harsh but if Ary was learning her powers I needed to know.
She was sitting in the kitchen with Taylor.
"Mom it was-" Tay began to talk but I shushed her.
"Ary did you, make the monster disappear?"
"No mom it was Taylor!"
"I tried to tell you.." Snapped Taylor.
"Tay, how did you get to the Elementary School?"
"I don't know when you yelled for Natalie I appeared."
I knew it. I'll have to hide her from the council or they'll train her.
"Tay, don't tell anybody about your powers. Got it?!" She could t say NO
"Got it.."

Nat suggested I take the kids out to dinner. I didn't agree too much because of Tay, but Natalie said I needed a break. She was right.
The kids were already getting ready. It wasn't a fancy place we were going to but... relaxing. I guess.
"I'm ready Mom!" Yelled Taylor.
"OK, just helping your brother get dressed."
I yelled back.
"Why does he have to come?" She groaned.
"Because it's a family dinner and he's part of the family." Taylor is so annoying sometimes... aren't all kids though?
"Alright kids are we ready?" I was ready to go, and I didn't like waiting.
"Yes mom." Aryanna doesn't get out too often, so I assume she excited. She walked downstairs in a jean-jacket and stretchy pants.
"OK let's go!" The kids ran to the car. Taylor sat in the passenger seat.
"Taylor sit in the back." I demanded her.
"Why I don't want to sit with.. them."
"Well too bad I don't want to sit in a car with screaming children either. Get in the back."
She slammed the car door shut and sat with her siblings.

"Kids you can order anything you want. As long as you'll eat it, and it's cheap." I said.
"OK" they said.
"May I take your order ma'am."
"Yes, this one (Taylor) wants the Spaghetti and two meatballs.. and that one (Aryanna) wants a Hot Dog. He (Daniel) wants aHot Dog as well and I want the steak medium rare thank you."
The waiter wrote down our order and left.
It was an legit hour till we got our food we were starving when we got it. We er.. I ate my food the other ones played with their food spaghetti up the nose, Hot Dog.. well you know.
After painful hours of food flinging and sauce makeup, we went home.
I made the kids take a shower and go to bed.
