Sasusaku
Sakura sighed as she walked up the pathway next to the water bank. It was dark so the stars and moon were gleaming onto the crystal clear water, she was on her way to her house but decided to stop and walk by the pond.
The dark blue gleaming onto the river reminded her of Sasuke who was on his way to find peace for himself. Sakura left behind to care for the village as Kakashi aka Hokage had asked.
"I like to say we gave it a try..." Sakura put her purse on a bench.
"I like to blame it all on life..."
She pulled her short hair out of her ponytail."Maybe we just weren't right, but that's a lie, that's a lie..." She placed her foot onto the water standing on it.
"And we can deny it as much as we want... but in time our feeling will show," she placed her hand on her forehead.
"Cause sooner or later, we'll wonder why we gave up, The truth is everyone knows..." she kept walking towards the middle.
"Almost, almost is never enough, so close to being in love, if I would've known that you wanted me," she glared at the sky.
"The way I wanted you... then maybe we wouldn't be two worlds apart but right here in each others arms." She yelled at the sky, arms throwing themselves around herself.
"And we almost, we almost knew what love was but almost is never enough." Defeat filled her voice as she teared.
"If I could change the world overnight..." she spun around to find Sasuke in his dark apparel.
"There'd be no such thing as goodbye," he took her hand and kissed it gently.
"You'll be standing right where you were, we'd get the chance we deserve." He let his hand linger as he looked at her.
"Try to deny it as much as you want, but in time our feeling will show," she wrapped her arms around his neck with tears.
"Cause sooner or later! We wonder why we gave up! The truth is everyone knows," they sang to their hearts content.
"Almost, almost is never enough... so close to being in love." They walked back picking her purse up.
"If I would have known that you wanted me, the way I wanted you..." hand in hand they started walking.
"Then maybe we wouldnt be two worlds apart, but right here in each other's arms." He squeezed her hand running his thumb on her knuckles.
"Yea we almost, we almost knew what love... was, but almost is never enough."
They finally reached her doors, he gently held her cheek in his hand, looked into her eyes and kisses her on the forehead. "I'll see you later." He whispered gently, before letting go and walking away.
