Never Give Up!

Chapter 1

Darkness. Silence. Flashes of light, going off the road. Am I driving? Upside down now. Back to darkness. Sleep. Am I alive? Am I dead? Dreaming? What is going on? Nothingness again. My eyes open, slowly. What is this place? I can't remember where I am or getting here. What was a dream and what is reality. I feel pain, and really good at the same time. I don't recognize this room. I slowly try to focus on the wall ahead of me. Without my glasses on it is hard. Where are my glasses? I have no idea when and where I took them off. Suddenly I realize my arm is connected to an iv line. Oh my God! What happened to me! I am in a medical room of some sort. Looking around I can see all sorts of machines making little beeps, clicks, sounds of air rushing into something, my calf muscles tightening. There is something squeezing my legs. I try to twist and bend up to have a closer look, but can't go any further. Something hard and stiff is wrapped around my chest and torso, preventing me from moving. I try to feel what it is with my left hand, as I lift it up, all I can see is a large block. My hand is inside of it somewhere. Why? My mind and thoughts are moving slow as I try to think. The room turns black again.
