The heart of man, a cage and a cover for the most horrific minds.
I wish that when you read this, you know of the evils unspoke, the terrors that lie in wait every here and there, with little consideration of your age, oh! no consideration at all, even a monster is intrigued by innocence!
The 7th of March, the day it began, started out as all days do, I remember staring at the early morning sun, an habit I had picked up since I was taught of the Sun's vitamins, the one my aunty said she lacked, that denied her straight legs. I wanted to be a model, if all I had to do for now was being sun beat, I would deal with that.
I went straight to the dining table, grandma only ever dished at the table, you missed out that table, you skipped breakfast.
I noticed a stranger at the table, Grandma saw my puzzled look, and she explained how the man was our new neighbor. I greeted him, food-in-mouth he waved,if I had known the kind of person he really was, if i had know he was a beast, would have struck him dead right there. When he left grandma told of how he was an orphan who had struggled through his life and recently got a job in town. A man who built everything for himself, it was obvious he had won her admiration.
He came around often to eat, innocent as I was I wasn't comfortable eating around other people. Grandma knew I was shy, she soon jokingly referred to him as "my husband". I didn't like that, but she joked on anyway.
