Roses Pov
So Dad is throwing a party for the factions to try and "bring peace". As if that will actually work!

I'm sure that the wolves and vampires are going to fight and Dad will probably have to settle it. I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to attend, but who cares? I'm still going anyways.
As I sat in front of my vanity I heard a soft knock at my door and turned around to see dad leaning in my doorway.
"Yes?" I asked twirling a tube of lip gloss in between my fingers
"I know you want to attend the party tonight Rose but I don't think it's a good idea," He said getting right to the point
"Dad come on! You can't just keep me locked in my room all the time. Plus I'm pretty sure the witches already know I'm alive" I said crossing my arms over my chest
He looked almost stunned and his demeanor shifted slightly as he put his hands in his pockets.
"What makes you think that?" He asked me his tone wavering with concern
"Another witch was working on the spell at the same time as I was," I told him turning back to my mirror "I could feel that it was a New Orleans witch so I'm assuming they knew of Celeste's plan so it only makes sense that they would know of my existence"
I watched as my dad thought over what I said for a moment before giving me a stiff nod.
"Fine, you may attend. But only because I do not wish to keep you locked away like some storybook character" He told me which automatically made me laugh" But you will stay where I can see you and not get involved in any hostility that takes place. Having all of the factions in one spot is grounds for some altercations and I will not have you getting hurt" He finished before I could say anything
I almost squealed in excitement but I kept it together and just hugged him which I could tell surprised him.
After he hugged me back I pulled away and quickly ushered him out so I could get dressed. I had only been out shopping once so I didn't have much to choose from and I didn't have much time either. After a bit of searching, I settled on some slightly ripped black jeans and a burgundy top. I decided to let my curly hair stay free and looked in the mirror for a second before walking out of my room.
The moment I stepped out there was music playing, people dancing, and for some odd reason fire in a fountain? Well, you can definitely tell there are witches here. Slowly walking downstairs I looked at all the people and watched as a red-headed witch walked in with three girls behind her. Davina Clare, Monique Deveraux, and Abigail French Quarter harvest witches and their leader and their leader Genevieve. She's sleeping with Klaus and has a few dark plans ahead. I gasped slightly as all that information was spoken to me by a voice in my head. It sounded like me but kinda..different. It's an ability me and my mom shared. A little voice tells me things about people. Sometimes it's what they're thinking, sometimes it's a secret. You never really know. I haven't been awake in so long I almost forgot about it.
As I regained my composure the wolves walked in, but no information on them came to me. As I watched them I heard Dad and Uncle Klaus talking about keeping them in check for the evening and almost on cue a Vampire bumped into the pack Alpha who's name was apparently Jackson. He's supposed to be married to Hayley...Wow, Thanks for that useless information little voice.
Anyways some vampire bumped his shoulder rather harshly and some blonde wolf got in the vampire's face. However, before they could start a fight Jackson told the blonde it wasn't worth it and he kinda backed down.
Taking my attention off their conversation I noticed my dad talking to some lady. It was some kind of weird vibe coming from her and I didn't like it. So I decided to walk over. And as I did yet another personal profile was delivered to me. Francesca Guerrera's new representative of the human faction. Mobster has lots of brothers and owns casinos...oh and she's got a family secret locked away and is waiting to come out. I sighed taking in the information and rolling my eyes. It's like this little voice is reading a book and occasionally fangirls.
Finally making my way over to my dad I slightly glared at Francesca. But when I got there I realized I hadn't come up with anything to say to pull him away from her. Luckily my excuse just walked through the door. Hayley Marshall. The chick carrying My uncles "miracle baby" and the girl Dad is oh so fond over. The moment she walked in and made eye contact with my dad I took the opportunity to tell him to go over to her, which he did. Then I turned to Francesca and gave her a fake smile before grabbing a cookie and going away.
I was standing enjoying the party until an argument broke out between Some blond wolf and a vampire. I watched as Dad intervened and pinned the wolf to a table and Jackson pinned the vampire to the wall. I kind of tune everything out until Hayley started talking.
"Well, what's stopping you? Kill Him"
She said emotionlessly and I chuckled slightly amused and watched as her eyes flicker to me as she heard it.
"I mean it's not like he doesn't deserve to die" she continued as she walked closer to dad and continued to ramble.
After a while, I think I may have fallen asleep. I was so done with her rambles that I butted in.
"Are you approaching a point?" I blurted out annoyed.
She rolled her eyes at me and I saw Klaus smirk.
"The point is, is we can't create some sort of community what is the point?" She finished turning back to dad "Kill each other and get it over with"
I watched as both dad and Jackson let the people they were holding up. They all exchanged some looks and the party continued until it was over. And at the end of the night, I was leaning against the wall watching the leaders of the factions put their blood into a cup as a pact and sign their names in blood.
At the end of the night, I followed Dad back to the compound where he tried to get Uncle Klaus to sign.. but of course, he didn't. But something told me that he would...
"Rose" I heard as I looked from my book seeing my dad in my doorway
"Yes?" I asked closing the book
"May I ask where your..hostility towards Hayley has come from?" He asked putting his hands in his pockets.
I shrugged as I put my hair up in a ponytail.
"I just don't like her" I explained laying down
"And what has brought this disliking? You haven't even spoken to her"
"Correction I spoke to her when you introduced her" I replied sassily and returned to my book
"I don't appreciate the sass and I won't tolerate your attitude towards Hayley"
"Why? It doesn't seem like she wants to be apart of this family anyways" I mumbled not looking up from my book.
I think my comment stroked him the wrong way because he didn't reply. He just stood there for a moment before walking away...
Great! I'm already in my rude teenager faze...
