"No...you're just beautiful." Avery stayed with a shrug.
Christian felt a blush reach her cheeks and ears as she quickly looked down and began to fiddle with the sleeves of her hoodie.
She muttered a quiet thanks and Avery laughed, the melodic sound filling the quiet atmosphere.
She was a bit mesmerized by her laugh but quickly shook her head. She doubted Avery was even gay. Everything about Avery screamed, "IM STRAIGHT" and Christian sighed quietly before glancing up at Avery to speak when the bell sounded.
Avery glanced up at the bell from across the room before shrugging and standing up, grabbing her papers and shoved them into her bag.
Christian momentarily wondered what the papers contents had that made Avery look so stressed out, but she shook it off knowing it was none of her business.
"Want me to walk you to class?" Christian Glanced up to see Avery was already packed and staring expectantly at her.
"O-oh..erm sure.."Christians ears went pink and Avery watched as she looked back down before fiddling with her sleeves.
She smiled at Christians adorableness before holding out her hand to help Christian up.
Christian let go of her sleeves and quietly took Avery's hand. Avery grinned and pulled her forward into her side.
Christians face went even redder due to this, she couldn't help but enjoy Avery's smell.
"Like a freshly brewed cup of coffee.." Avery threw her arm over Christians shoulder and grinned again.
She held out the previously mentioned yellow paper and stated, "Oh. You're in class with me. Great!" She smiled down at the shorter girl and placed the paper back in Christians bag before guiding them both to the classroom.
After doing this, much to Christians disappointment, Avery removed her arm from the others shoulder and after adjusting her jacket she stepped in.
A low growl sounded from the front desk, "Avery you're late." She grinned and walked over to the teacher before throwing her arm over her shoulder.
"Ohohoh don't be mad Amanda. I was just showing the new girl around." The teacher's brow twitched as she shoved Avery's arm off her shoulder and glared at her.
"Fine. But go have a seat." Avery wiggles her brows before taking a seat in the back with a smirk and crossed her arms.
"Why hello. What might your name be dear?" The lady turned to Christian and Christian already knew she would like her.
"H-hi. I'm Christian.." The teacher nodded.
"Well Christian, I am Mrs Saturn, and I will be your Science teacher for the year." She smiled lightly.
"And I am truly..truly sorry for this.." she sighed with apologetic eyes, "Please take a seat by Avery and don't let her bother you. She can be a real pain sometimes."
Avery rolled her eyes and looked out the window. Christian nodded and walked quietly towards where Avery was seated before taking a seat.
Avery glanced at her before looking away. Christian felt slightly hurt by this before she began to fiddle with her sleeves.
"This is gonna be a long day.." Both sighed quietly in their heads.
