“The newness of my vessel and the surroundings was so disorienting”
I couldn’t really get it, I was seeing darkness for as long as I remembered, and now suddenly I’m trapped on a weird object, its shape is not something I get, it feels fragile, yet it has such a strong feel, is the first time a vessel feel this warm, a spirit feeling warm… that is a new to me, and I thought I had lived long enough to stop getting surprised, this new vessel, is so weird.
I hear the words, reciting the contract, I must accept and acknowledge it, a new master has come.

The new master… looks pretty much like a kid to me, though, all humans have looked the same to me after a while, I stretch myself, is been so long since I last had made a new contract and my form got out.
I adjusted my glasses to my eyes and moved the little flock of hair I had, as an spirit it stopped growing so I have to get used to short hair for life, the only good point is at least I’m tall, an spirit has to be tall to get respect, my garb looks fine, I thought after time it would look damaged.
I look at the eyes of my new master; I expected fear, normally those who make a contract never expected to work, though I see something totally new on the eyes of this master…
Amazement, he looks at me with his eyes open as it fullest, the amaze in his eyes is not blocked by his glasses, is as if for him, I was the most awesome thing he has seen. I really can’t get why is there no fear, but this master doesn’t look as old as I thought he would look.
Is the first time I actually smile to a master.
“It is in my nature to learn new things and to treasure knowledge”
My master ask me a lot of questions, few I can answer, I don’t know as many things as he would expect, though I ask him if there is a library near, I ask him to take me there, he asks if people would be able to see me, I explain only he can see me cause my vessel is a personal belonging, he can see me because the vessel has a deep meaning for him.
Still hesitant he takes me to the library, I have come to known this new vessel is a key chain, one with the shape of a crow, I must admit is good looking vessel, plus is easy to carry for the master so he has no excuse of being unable to take me outside of his home. I look at the surroundings, cities have sure changed from my times, and everything looks outstanding, though I miss watching the green scenery’s…
The library is awesome, is huge I have never seen once so big in a long time, this is probably the biggest library I have seen, the master says there is one even more big, though I pay no attention to that while I move between the books getting their knowledge as fast as I can, geography, math, science, literature this last topic is the one I enjoy the most. Time might have pass, but is good to see books once again.
I keep moving between the books getting to feel all their precious knowledge, I was born for the sake of keep knowledge, but I ended up developing the love to learn new things, master says that is called curiosity, I take note and keep moving between the books, he seems amazed at my enjoyment with the books.
He speaks that I should get a library card, I ask him to tell me more of this card to the library that allows access to all the books, though he just laughs and dismiss the idea, I don’t really get why he laughed.

I’m intrigued at master, he studies accounting, it seems is the technique to register the flows of money, I read a book about it in the library, even if the subject did not really appease to my curiosity I enjoyed the fact something like this exist.
