The Hero (Obviously) [A Hat In Time]

This is something weird to do since I'm not used to this, but I felt like I had to do it just to relieve myself a bit from my story

After i leave everything in this nasty book i will just continue with my plans, so I should make this quick

I used to live in a big city with my parents, but after they passed away my grandpa decided to take care of me until I grew up and he took me to his native island and live there with him.

The island was so quiet and pacific, there wasn't any problems and the natives of the island were so nice with my and grandpa, I also used to play around the whole place just running everywhere, jumping places, sneaking to other zones of the island like the beach and more things, I really had a lot of fun, until something really bad happened.

One day I told my grandpa that I was going to play around the island as always, I was really excited this time because I learned a few tricks and I wanted to test them for a while, but then at the distance I saw a big ship coming towards the island. It didn't seem like one that had come before, and my grandpa never told me about a ship coming to the island, which is weird since he used to tell me a lot of stories about his land mostly as bed time stories, but I decided to just come near the boat and see what was inside of it.

Out of nowhere (or well, out of the ship) a bunch of big men came out out the ship and started to walk around the island, they seemed intimidating but maybe they were here to just look around and stay for a while. I decided to get close to them to say hi since my grandpa always told me to be generous with new people, but then they just looked at me really pissed and one of them pushed me, as the others started to vandalize the place by drawing in the walls "Mafia Town" or "Belong to Mafia", break stuff or even taking other people stuff and throwing them away and also keeping some for themselves.

I was really mad at what they were doing, i wouldn't let them continue with their vandalization one more second and I tried my best to stop them, they were big but I still tried to punch them or push them or just straight up yell at them to stop, but of course they didn't and instead they took me to a place I didn't know where it was until they headed to a big fountain on the middle of the island.

At the top of the fountain there was a place that apparently was where all of them decided to stay, then they walk the "Theater" and took me to see their boss. He was the nastiest and rudest man that I have ever known, he had a horrible mustache and he was way uglier than everyone else of those men, I yelled that to his face and everyone just started to laugh, I was so mad at him and I told him on his ugly face that I would get my revenge and save the island where I started to grow up. He just laugh even more and told me that he already got every native of the island away from the place, including my grandpa.

I was so angry and broken at that moment, I just took a few coins of the piles of money that he had there and yelled a lot of bad things on his face to then run away from that nasty place. After a few days I started to vandalized all of their stuff and mess up with their plans, mostly just messing up with them and stealing things from their property like dynamite barrels to make them more weak and useless, but those guys never gave up and they even managed to make such ridiculous stuff like using fireworks as jets or getting humongous meat chunks to ride on them.

Up to this day I'm still trying to sabotage their plans and get them out of the island already, but even with that goal in mind, I still can't forget about the natives of the island, the good times that I used to have here, and especially my grandpa. This place is so lonely, just a little cave where I'm using as a refuge from that nasty town that used to be my home, I'm all alone in this place, but I know that one day someone will join me to finally take these guys out of my island and finally be the hero that everyone needs.
