((warning!I am not the best with grammar/punctuation.please inform me if I have messed up in any grammatical way. thank you))

you lay in bed, sleeping peacefully as the slight sound of hard rain patters against your roof. you shift a bit to your side, letting a rather vivid dream run your unconscious  mind on autopilot. sleeping ever. so. soundly...that is,until a loud and sudden clap of thunder violently shoves you back into consciousness. you jump up with a gasp, and with a loud cuss and thump to follow it,you practically flip out of your bed and into the floor. you jolt up and frantically look around letting what just happened process in your extremely sluggish head. after your brain starts to function normally again, you begin to calm down a a bit.another few minutes later, you are officially chilled out...kind of. second fucking time this week. this shit has happened for the second goddammed time.first time it was your cat being deciding that running through the house at three o'clock in the morning was ok,and now this? you sigh. stuff as of lately has felt...different. you're not sure how or why...but it does. and you don't like it. it's put you on edge, makes you incredibly jumpy, paranoid, and gives you incredible migraines. you rub your temple, stand up from the floor, and walk to the door. almost pissing yourself made you extremely parched.

halfway down the stairs you try to recall the earlier vivid dream you were rudely ripped away from. you try your hardest to pull back more memory but sadly fail. all you manage to come up with is an almost low, staticy, and hollow voice whispering your name over and over again...m-maybe you should just leave it at that. you decide that leaving it at that is a smart idea. as you make it to your nicely sized kitchen, you stop and stare out of your kitchens sliding glass door. it looks so beautiful outside. the sky, almost a pure midnight indigo canvas, sprinkled with bright burning stars that somehow managed to glimmer through the thick black rain clouds. you just kinda want to go sit in it and look up at the sky.letting the rain wash over you...

your parents would most likely murder you though.

"why are you soaked??","what were you even thinking!?", "grounded!" ,are all the things you'd rather not have screamed in your face at 2:35 in the morning. you continue onward and walk to the sink with a cup already awaiting your needs. after getting some cold tap water from your sink, you feel your stomach groan in hunger. waffles sounding like heaven right now...2 o'clock waffles...perfection.

you quickly and quietly start to prepare for the yummy blueberry waffles, plopping them into the toaster after preparing a plate and syrup. as you patiently wait for the breakfast meal to finish heating up, you sit at the kitchens large island counter, and rest your chin in your palm. sighing loudly. the likely Hood of you going back to sleep is...moderately low. you lay your head down, and close your eyes. maybe you could get just a minute of sleep...

after a few seconds of silence you start to fade into the in between part of the sleep world (you know, that pre dream you get...lucid dreaming,I think?) you continue slipping deeper into your dream until finally, the waffles pop up with a startling *ding*

you jump up,but calm back down and let a smile crawl over your face as you smell the sweet, fluffy treats. but before you could even reach to retrieve the waffles, you hear a small noise...almost like rubber sliding against a hard surface.y-your...Backdoor? The beating of your heart intensifies,as does the sound of rain hitting the outside ground. your blood runs cold as a gust of warm, moist, air blows over your body. the soft gush of air hits you like a speeding bullet as you shiver in fear. your back has been turned the whole time, not wanting to turn around, absolutly fearing what you might see if you do

. But you are human, and curiosity hits you like a metal baseball bat.

you slowly, ever so slowly, turn your head over your shoulder to sneek a peak at the possible intruder.

your eyes widen in horror,as they place themselves on the tall,Slender like creature peeking at you through your Backdoor.your heart stops as you stare in horror,at this...thing!his face missing a few vital features(like nostrils to breath,a mouth to eat with, eyes to see,and ears to hear)the fact that this creature is able to live still confuses you, His incredible paper white skin, that almost reflects the moon, his inhuman height, And the all in all atmosphere the creature gave off.it was a heavy feeling.  As if all the emotions in the world came together And now inhabited this monster.  this 'things'(you are ignorant to its name since you did not know of his existance before this encounter)name is actually to only a handful of people, the operator. or more commonly known as the Slenderman.

After what feels like an hour long "stare" down with the Slender creature,he speaks. you have no idea how,but he does. as if it has telepathic abilities or something. his voice sounding as if it was in harmony with several others, held a staticy tone.

four unforgettable words,in that unforgettable voice,on that unforgettable night.

        he spoke

"may I have some?"
