    "So this is it

"So this is it." I smiled solemnly dragging my suitcase to a halt. "Didn't think that I would say this but, I'm going to seriously miss you, Ev". I confessed staring into his freckled brown eyes.

He ran a hand through his frizzed curls and smiled. "School is going to suck without you, but I'll be down to visit you in Cali"

"Elixyvett" Norman barked, "your plane is barding, time to go".

I threw my head casually and turned back to Everest to say one more goodbye. But, something had changed, and subconscious light switch. Suddenly, his hand was on my cheek as he moved in closer. His lips caressed mine, sending a shiver up my spine. My hands moved from my side to his beautiful mop of hair. From the moment I met this boy this is all I've wanted to do, and now I have to move across the county.

It was quick, a lot quicker than I wanted it to be. If it wasn't for my mom and stepdad standing a few feet from us, I would've made sure it lasted forever. He pulled away, cheeks slightly tinted pink and smiled.

"Bye" I managed to say

"It's not bye, I'm going to see you again. Promise" He reassured sending my legs into manual mode. For a moment I felt all strength leave my body, before composing myself.

"All right, I'll see you soon" I muttered, half dazed.

"See you soon" He said, giving a lopsided grin.

I gave him one last look and turned around towards my terminal. Standing behind me with disapproving eyes glared Norman, and his monstrous daughter, Hannah.

"Bye" I spoke as I passed. There wasn't much for me to say to the three of them. After giving up her morals for money and power, my mom had successfully let her three children go.

I wheeled my suitcase up the escalator, making sure not to look behind me. Not to give them the satisfaction.

The hallways at Landon high always seemed crowded to me

The hallways at Landon high always seemed crowded to me. The lockers painted purple and white always seemed tacky and with every waking moment, I find myself wishing to be back in New York. The one thing that made Landon high better though, was the overwhelming amount of cheerful energy that surged through the halls.
