Unexpected love

It was Hermione's first term back to Hogwarts for her sixth year, and she as well as Harry, Ron and Ginny had all been very excited to be back after Christmas at the burrow. They went through the usual welcome back with The first years being sorted into their houses, Dumbledore had his speech and they all had a huge feast but instead of going strait back to their dorms Dumbledore made them wait to say something that caught Hermione, Ron and Harry of guard.

"All students this year your classmates will be slightly different, Gryffindor and Slytherin will be together and Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff will be together." At this all the students started complaining but mainly the Gryffindor's and Slytherin's and Dumbledore waited for that to sink in before he continued. "Also we will be announcing the new Head boy and Head girl for the year, which this year they will share a dorm with separate rooms as well as a kitchen, dining and living room." At this everyone went silent to hear the new head boy and girl after Dumbledore called up Professor Snape to announce them.

As Professor Snape started speaking his voice had a chilling and cold tone to it. "This years head girl and head boy are Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger." All the Slytherin's were cheering until they heard Hermione's name and looked at her shocked expression starting to whisper as well as Gryffindor. Then Dumbledore got up and began to speak before letting everyone out. "Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy meet me in my office after dinner." Then he let them all out to their dormitories to rest.

Once they had left Hermione, Ron and Harry all started walking to Dumbledore's office and as they were in front of Dumbledore's office Hermione turned to face both Harry and Ron. "You two should leave now and go to bed." Then Ron spoke. "No! We are not leaving you alone with Malfoy he could try something!" "Like what Ronald, and besides I am pretty capable of handling things on my own if you hadn't noticed the amount of times that I have saved your ungreatful arse, and have more respect towards others even if they are rude. Also Harry please be careful." She spoke to Harry in a nice tone before leaving and Ron had stopped talking because he knew she was angry once she called him Ronald.

As she entered she had found Draco, Pansy and Blaze all looking at her as well as Dumbledore. "Who new Granger cussed" Pansy said making Hermione realize that the had heard everything then turned to the entrance knowing that Harry and Ron hadn't left. "You two might as well come in if you are gonna listen through the entrance." "Sorry Hermione, Ron wouldn't leave." "It is alright Harry, Draco brought his friends along as well." Dumbledore had said in a soft tone. "But you must be on your way before Professor McGonagall catches all of you out of bed, so hurry and leave Hermione and Draco with me." And with that they all left leaving Draco staring at Hermione who was in front of the entrance looking at the floor with her book in her hands.

"Come on you two Professor Snape will lead you to your new living space." And after speaking Professor Snape lead them to their dorm in complete silence before stopping in front of the portrait of a knight covered from head to toe armor. "I will leave you two now and both of you must create a password together" With that he walked into the distance. "How about Mudblood?" Draco said with a grin causing the knight to speak in a loud angry voice. "Have some respect boy! And because of your disrespect The lady Granger will pick the password." "Thankyou Sir Lancelot." "Of course you know him." Draco said with anger visible in his voice. "How about. . . Levi avadra?" "What kind of name is that?" "The name I intened to give my daughter. Now how about it Sir Lancelot?" "I think it is wonderful my Lady."

Then the painting swung open to reveal a beautiful living area with a room with two white French doors and along the hallway two rooms with Draco and Hermione's names carved into the white wooden doors and in the middle was a living room with a kitchen and dining room to the right. When they entered Hermione went strait to her room without a word and slammed the door shut causing Draco to stand there confused before entering his room, but little did he know she ran to her room to hide the red crystal on her forehead that was starting to appear.

The next two days Hermione hadn't left her room and Ron and Harry wouldn't stop annoying Draco until he finally gave up and let them in as well as Blaze, Pansy and for some reason Ginny, then Ron ran in and tried to open Hermione's door while Harry looked worried and the rest of them stood in silence. "Hermione open the door!" "No Ronald, and leave!" "What did they do to you?!" "Nothing, NOW LEAVE!" Then Ron turned to Malfoy and Grabbed his collar. "What did you do to her?!" Then the door slammed open revealing Hermione with her hand on her forehead and looking pissed. "I SAID LEAVE RONALD!" She then turned to Ginny in a panicked state and said. . . "Code S." And with that Ginny ran into the room closing the door.

"What is Code S?" "I don't know Ron, girl talk maybe? Hey Pansy do you know what Code S stands for?" "Yes I do Harry, the girls at school made this code first year and that specific one was used when they saw a hot guy but that isn't what Hermione was saying because girls only used the code while whispering as to not be heard and still use it to this day." "Wow girls are strange." "Finally something we agree on weasel" "Shut up Ferret" Then everyone went to their next lesson. . .
