Chapter 2

The bell was taking forever to ring. To be honest, I hated my second hour, it was just plain boring. The teacher though. Oh, the teacher. She was a discusting creature, not to be rude. Her long legs and smashed up face with that long nose made her look like a witch.

" Don't forget to do your homework tonight!" Mrs.Wood shrieked. God, I also disliked her voice.

"Bring the following students down to the office......."

The speaker boomed its voice out. Students had been called down all morning because they caught the virus. There was barely anyone left in my second hour, so why did the witch even bother to keep talking?

*ring*

Thank God! I grabbed my books and walked out to find the unexpected. There were no students in the halls, only a few here and there. And get this, no noise, no yelling, and best of all, no storming! It was like a new world was born in our own school.

I enjoyed the peace and skipped to my locker when halfway someone bumped into me.

"Oh my god, babe! Your okay!!" Brandon wrapped his arms around me tight.

"Uh, yea, why wouldn't I be?" I looked at him worried.

" There's no time to explain, we need to get out of school right now, too many crawlers walking around." He grabbed my hand and I followed him. What was he talking about? And what are crawlers?

" Brandon, I am not moving untill you tell me what the fuck is going on!" I dropped my books and yelled.

" Babe, listen to me. We are going to die if we don't move. Right now." He took my hand again and pulled tighter. I just gave up and ran with him.

We ran past the doors when I saw my best friend, Sarah. But, it didn't look like her at all, she looked pale and raw. When I walked closer to her I could smell raw flesh, like she just got caught on fire.

"Sarah!! Are you okay?!?"  I shouted to her but Brandon stopped me.

" She isn't who you think she is Aleksandra, hurry come on now."

I ran after him to a jeep. He unlocked the car and we quickly got in.

" I think you got some explaining to do." I stared at him barely breathing.
