Starting her career at a grocery store in a photo lab, little did Heather McSparron know that future has different plans for her. After all, how much can be expected out of a stay at home mom with an active duty military husband. She was solely responsible to manage everything including the household chores and kids. While managing her daily chores, she was actually learning the basic skills for her professional career. These skills included communication, planning, mentoring, budgeting, and leadership. She also learned the work-life balance while sharpening her skills that she previously learned in the photo lab.
However, the transition of her husband from active duty military to the civilian life made her realize that it was time to start working again. They had to face the actually cost of living without the discounted prices of the commissary or the medical provided. Soon she was offered the position of a Customer Service Representative at Riverside National Bank. While discussing about money with the client, Heather learned the skill of keeping the clients calm when they are upset. Besides, she made use of the creative techniques to make clients as much money as possible with the products being offered. It was her responsibility to make sure that all the assets of the client were covered under FDIC insurance.
After being cross-trained to work the teller side in the bank, Heather McSparron started learning the daily tasks of a teller while simultaneously performing the duties on the customer service. Soon, she was offered the position of Teller Supervisor where she learned more about scheduling, cash ordering, and TT&L payments. Here, she was responsible for referring the customers for auto or home loans, business loans and merchant accounts.
Pertaining to her professional career as a buyer, Heather has been serving as a buyer for government contracting companies at different locations. Possessing a great understanding of the procurement regulations, she is highly skilled to gain solid background as a buyer. From 2012-2015, Heather has been working as a buyer at DynCorp International at Melbourne.

Here, he developed the skills to create Request for Quotes (RFQ), analyze the proposals, read the technical drawings, and understand the technical evaluations. She also learned how to make effective interactions between external customers, internal customers and suppliers.
