The rain outside poured down from fluffy grey clouds and fell onto the black sidewalk. I stood behind the kitchen counter and my fingers immediately felt something slimy. "OH MY GOODNESS," I screamed, jumping around crazily. "IT'S THE DOG'S TONGUE!" Cameron yelled back from the bathroom. I sighed with relief and I looked down at Fairy, the wild corgi trying to get my attention, which she had accomplished. I stomped out of the house and grabbed my penny board. What a know it all, I thought. He always knows what's happening while I have to be the clueless one. I rode down the street with my hair wild and free in the rain. I knocked on the door of Carly's house. Her mom was there for the first time ever. "Since you're looking for Carly, I'll tell you now. She's at the hospital." she stared at me blankly but I saw a smile try to break free. "WHERE?" I totally freaked out. I nearly fainted.
