They went in Yeonjun's car, an hour long ride from Beomgyu's town to the city. The tiny stores and houses faded into tall buildings and people walking the sidewalks. Yeonjun asked the most odd questions, deep and personal, hard and breathtaking.
"What's your deepest regret?" He asked, and Beomgyu laughed in shock.
"Are you serious?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" The end of Yeonjun's mouth turned up, his eyes on the road as he drove with ease.
Beomgyu nodded with his lip between his teeth. "I don't think I have one. Not yet anyway."
The elder smiled, "that's fair. you should live life with no regrets either way."
"Oh really? So it was a trick question?" the blond raised an eyebrow.
"I guess so," Yeonjun shrugged. "How about your philosphy in life? what is it?"
Beomgyu's eyebrows furrowed. "To live life to the fullest, I guess."
They talked and talked, not one moment of awkward silence as they told each other everything. Question after question. Beomgyu felt incredibly comfortable with the elder, as if they connected on a subconscious level.
The hour long ride felt like a mere 15 minutes.
