**Sam's pov**

I was upset with jay because he spent most of the disco around girls and Crystal..

I really thought we was gonna hang out because of his big gesture at the start. guess i was wrong

The only good thing about tonight was meeting joe he seemed nice i was disappointed in jay that he pinned joe to the wall he
Could've really hurt him I didn't think Jay was like that

Before I left the disco earlier in the night I left my phone number with Joe

I was sure jay would be back soon, I was gonna ask him about what happened between him and joe i felt bad for joe I really did

"That was out of order what you did to joe"

"Shut up, he was all over you when you were upset. he was taking advantage"

" No he wasn't and don't tell me to shut up jay"

"You sound like you wanted him all over you" his voice raised.

"Oh whatever" I snapped back harshly before getting out of the tent

"Where the hell are you going!?" Jay growled

" To find joe and ask if he wanted to bring his tent over here"

"You know that won't be allowed"

"Oh said who?! You!? Pfft do one jay" I was upset with him cuz he thought I couldn't take care of myself and I can

I had no clue where to look for joe honestly so I just ended up sleeping outside

It was cold out i really wanted to find joe in the morning I'd probably ask around or try bump into Crystal and ask what part he was on that would most likely be my best bet

I woke up to birds singing i jumped out of my sleeping bag quickly I needed to find joe so I went to the toilet block and got a wash before I knew it joe walked in

"Hey" he said bubbly

"Mornin'" I chuckled

"Not with your boyfriend?" He asked bluntly

" No"  I state my tone flat

"Oh..how come?" He asked before getting his toothbrush out of his case

"We had an argument about you"

It was clear he was blushing

"You were arguing over me?"

" Kinda" I sighed before his face sunk

"You should go make up with him no?" He asked

" I would but I thought it was out of order how he treated you at the party last night"

"Well if you were my boyfriend and Someone was about to ki-" he stopped before dropping his head in pure embarrassment

I chuckled before patting him on the back

"Did you fancy moving your tent to my part of the camp" I asked him before he left

"Uh? Um would that be aloud?"

" yeah I asked Crystal to ask your camp leader and he said yeah"

"Well if you wanna walk back with me we can grab my tent?"

" Sure " I smiled

We slowly headed off to grab joes tent i hadn't talked to jay yet this morning but I'm sure he'd be going off with Crystal at some point in the afternoon

"Joey lad! Who's ya mate?" A handsome young gent asked

"He's someone I met at the disco last night"

Someone? I was disappointed at his description of me

"No dude I mean his name" he basically face palmed before slapping joe upside his head

"Sorry" joe chuckled before continuing

"His name is Sam he's a really good guy tbh " he said as if he was texting

The young lad introduced himself as Ben

"Sam obviously" I muttered feeling embarrassed of course he knew my name was sam joe just told him i mentally sighed before joe told his friend we had to go

Before we took off i grabbed the guys number i asked if we could hang out sometime between the 2 weeks we were here for

We finally got back to my part of camp we got a few odd looks carrying a tent but other people offered to help but honestly it was lightest thing ever so we happily declined thanking them for their offers

Jay was up so was most of the group some of them got up and introduced themself to joe

Jay just huffed and went off into the woods i wasn't going to follow him he was acting like a child honestly i wish he would've tried to be civil with joe

Once joe had settled down it was time for lunch i went to find jay but he said he wasn't hungry so I turned back to camp he was very distant today but I guess that's cuz we had an argument?

I was gonna ask him after lunch even if he was out of order yesterday it wasn't fair to blame only him

For lunch we had ham and salad sandwiches with crisps it was a lovely lunch beside the bread it was a bit hard but everyone seemed to enjoy the meal later we had an activity that I was looking forward to but before we headed off to that I had to see how Jay was doing 

The woods was a lovely sight mainly in the night to be honest

Jay was sitting there with puffy eyes it seemed like he'd been crying but I wasn't one to judge so I sat down next to him and asked if he was okay of course we all knew the answer to that but..

"I told you I'm fine sam"

"You don't look fine"

"Oh thanks" he said snapping and getting up

"Oh don't be like that" I huffed before getting up and followed him he kept looking at his phone

"Jay  look I'm sorry about last night"

"This hasn't got anything to do with last night sam! The world doesn't revolve around you!" He growled before turning around to face me

I was slightly taken back but at the same time I'm used to people shouting

"Why don't you just tell me what's wrong?" I asked treading carefully

"Because" he went silent before his phone buzzed

As soon as he checked it he was full on sobbing i grabbed him into a hug letting him sob

What for him so upset? Was someone bullying him by text?

Before I knew it joe had appeared he stayed quiet when he saw jay sobbing he came over and stood by me

"Is he ok?" He whispered in my ear before walking up to jay

"He's -" I got cut off by jay

" I'm fine" he mumbled embarrassed

"I'm just hugging my boyfriend what's the f***** problem?"

He said before wiping his cheeks and looking forward at joe

"T-there isn't a problem" he stumbled back tripping over a large stone

"Good" Jay growled at him before walking off

I Of course gave joe a hand getting up and went to apologise for jays behaviour
