-two days later- leylani's pov it was now monday which meant , i had school today. I was nervous asf since i wasn't gonna know anybody but whatever. I brushed my teeth , did my makeup and got dressed.

I was not the girliest girl out there but i had my days. I walked downstairs and waited for my brother since he was giving me a ride. " ISAIAH HURRY" i yelled at him. He gave me a dirty look and said goodbye to our parents. "adios" i said to my parents as a i walked out the door. We got in the car and headed for school. "you nervous?" Isaiah asked me as i plugged in my phone to the aux. "kinda , now if you'll excuse me , ima play my music" i told him. I hit shuffle & november 18th by drake started to play.
— We got to school and began to walk inside to get our schedules. As soon as we got our schedules , isaiah and i checked to see if we got the same lunch . and we did . I said bye to isaiah and walked to class , even though i was a little lost. I finally found my class and walked inside. I saw a middle aged white lady standing in front of the class who looked at me as i walked in. "Oh you must be our new student , whats your name ?" She asked . "Leylani" i answered. " welcome in , you may take a seat right to emmanuel. emmanuel raise your hand" she said. A tall light skin boy raised his hand . damn he finer than a mf I walked over to where he was and i sat down. as i sat down , i could him staring at me . or maybe i was trippin.
emmanuel's pov shittt as soon as she walked in the class , i could tell she wasnt like these other girls . lil mama was bad i stared at her while she sat down next to me. "okay guys , i have a lot of work to do so you guys can just chill . but don't get too loud" said mrs.harris. Everybody started to talk amongst themselves. "aye shawty" i whispered to her.
leylani's pov "aye shawty" i heard the cute guy say. I turned towards him. "wassup" i told him. "whats your name ma?" he asked "leylani" i said. "damn you got a pretty ass name . im emmanuel" he said. "thanks emmanuel" i said smiling. he smirked. " so where you from ma ?" he asked. " dallas" i answered. "you don't talk much huh ?" emmanuel said. "you ask a lot of questions huh?" i asked jokingly. he laughed . wow like music to my ears "oh you got a little attitude . i like it" he said to me. i laughed at him. we heard the bell ring & i got up to leave to my next class. "aye let me walk you to your class , if you don't mind?" emmanuel asked. "sure" i said. "what class you got ?" he said. "medical terminology with mr.martinez, what about you?" i asked him. "damn i got basketball" he told me. We started walking to class when we were stopped by a blonde girl that looked like she was in our grade. "so this what we doing now? walking with random bitches?" she said. I glared at her . "who tf-" i got cut off. "mann ashley chill out , you not my girl . And dont be calling lani a bitch" he snapped at her . She looked at us with a glare but walked away. "lani huh ?" I asked him smiling. He looked at me also smiling. "yeah thats your new nickname" he said. "okay manny" i looked up at him grinning. He chuckled. we finally got to my class. "well this is your class ma" manny said. "okay , thanks for walking me" i told him smiling. (damn they smile alot LMAO) "wait , i know you not gonna leave me without giving me a hug" he said smirking at me. I smirked at him and gave him a hug. lord help me. "ight bye manny" i told him pulling away from the hug. "bye mama" he said looking at me with a grin on his face.
time skip—LUNCH it was already lunch time & i sat a table by myself waiting for Isaiah. "so hows your day so far?" isaiah asked sitting down. "good , i think i made a new friend" i told him smiling. " thats good , cause you dont have any of those" he said laughing. "shut up" i said lightly slapping him in the arm. "AYO MA" i turned around and saw that emmanuel was walking towards us. "hey manny" i told him. He smiled at me and turned his head to look at my brother. "wassup man , you know her ?" emmanuel asked dapping him up. "sup bro , and yeah this my sister" isaiah said. "why dont yall come sit over there with me and my friends?" manny asked pointing to where his friends where. I looked at isaiah and he shrugged. "Yeah sure" isaiah said. I stood up and started walking alongside them. Manny grabbed my hand and led me to the table. When we got there , emmanuel introduced us to his friends. "aye , yall this is leylani & isaiah. This is julian , jaden , carlos , monica , and dylan" mannu said pointing to everybody. "hey" "wassup" me and isaiah said . They greeted us back and waved. we sat down & manny grabbed my hand so i could sit next to him. On the other side of me was monica who started a converstaion with me . " hey sis where you from?" She asked. "dallas" i said nodding. "like texas? yall own any horses?" said carlos. We all laughed. "nah , not everybody owns horses" isaiah said. "lani , me and jaden are going to the mall tomorrow after school . you wanna come with us ?" monica asked. "yeah , that'd be fun" i told her.
