graduation

jisung looked at the stage longingly, he wished he could join his friends up there, but he was only a junior. he sighed before turning his attention back to the beaming smiles of his best friends.

"bang chan," he felt his heart break as he hear the name of one of the two people he relied on the most, he ignored all of the names until he heard changbin's name be called, that's it, they're both gone.

he waited for the rest of the long list of names to be called, he stood reluctantly by chan and jihyo's parents. he felt a breakdown coming but he pushed his anxieties down waiting for chan and changbin to come see them.

it was almost as if chan's mom could feel his anxieties too, she started rubbing his back to try and calm him to the best of her abilities without causing a scene.

chan and changbin rushed off the stage towards the large grouping of people, changbin's parent migrated over at some point. chan ran straight up to his parents giving them and his younger siblings a huge hug. changbin also went straight towards his parents giving each of them a hug, while his dad congratulated him incessantly. after they both finished with their parents they turned towards their significant others, in chan's case, jihyo, and in changbin's felix. chan gave jihyo a big hug and a classy kiss on the cheek, but even jisung noticed how low his hands were on jihyo's waist, he hung his head low, his crushes on chan and changbin were getting worse.

changbin on the other hand was basically making out with felix to the left, so after chan and jihyo separated he walked over to the couple, they both beamed at him. he quickly embraced jihyo in a quick hug, she was like his older sister. after they parted from their quick hug chan pulled him close, holding him a little tighter than he normally would.

after felix finally detached himself from changbin, they walked over to jisung. no one else noticed felix roll his eyes at jisung but jihyo and jisung, but jisung just ignored it and changbin pulled him in for a big hug, he lingered for a while longer than he probably should have.

jihyo studied felix, she felt that something was wrong, so she pulled jisung to the side.

"hey, jisung, why does that kid look like he wants to kill you?"

"it's nothing, noona, don't worry about it."

"alright, tell me if something happens though."

"i will, noona."

he felt his head hanging in shame, now he had no one to stop felix's little crew from harassing him, oh well at least he has the summer to get over it, maybe he can change a few things too, he's too bland.
