-5 Years Old.-
Yuuei is an Academy for rookie superheroes-in-training. Yuuei was a ticket to being the No.1 Hero. Currently, the best hero was there; All Might. Mother wanted me to join an elite private dancing academy. But no, I wanted more. At the age of 5, I received my quirk. I still went to a private school, but I was ridiculed for not being able to participate in 'quirk assessments'.
It all started when I was against the highest-achieving student in the class. But to me, she was known as the 'Class Bully'. She hated me because of my quirkless personality, she wanted to squash me like a bug. Her quirk was a mutant quirk. She had the physique of a bird. On demand; a beak, wings and talons would grow.
The teacher shouted; "Commence all battles!"
Immediately, simultaneous battle-cries rang out and there was a series of thumps and sounds of pain. But the high-tiered bully only stared at [Y/n] with fake pity.
"It's such a shame you won't be able to fight back."
[Y/n] grew angrier with every second, it wasn't fair that she didn't have a quirk. It wasn't fair.
The bird-like opponent leapt at [Y/n].
[Y/n] shrieked and jumped out of the way just in time.
Everyone grew still and quiet as they stared at the fight.
"Fight back! Oh wait. You can't!"
She sneered and grabbed [Y/n]'s arm with a talon.
[Y/n] stared at the girl in fear, her life flashing before her eyes.
She was chucked to the ground, talons slashing at her face.
In defense, she raised her fore-arms.
It's not fair. It wasn't fair. Destiny chose wrong. She was suppose to have a quirk.
How could she be a hero without a quirk? It wasn't fair. Not fair.
A lightning flashed through [Y/n]'s mind. Everything became still, then blackness clouded her mind. [Y/n] watched through a screen as she saw the talon-girl slash viciously at her. Panting, she turned around only to face a lion.
[Y/n] screamed and collapsed to the ground, crawling away in fear.
"Do not fear child. I am here to offer my assistance."
The lion gestured to the screen, the heavy tone indicating that it was male.
"How? Sir-how?"
The girl stared through the screen as the talon-girl started making heavy scratches in her fore-arms.
"Just help me! Save me!"
[Y/n] crumpled up on the floor. Sobbing into her sleeves.
"Child. Do not cry. Because I am here."
[Y/n] choked as she heard All Might's catchphrase.
"Help me."
The lion smiled, teeth baring. The lion started disintegrating into light particles, the light shining everywhere. As it disappeared, it wrapped around [Y/n] then suddenly fused with her. [Y/n] gasped as she felt her bones breaking and snapping, only to form bigger and stronger bones. [Y/n] stood up on her hind legs, fur growing quickly. Her face felt strange as it broke and then formed the skull of a lion. She shook her large mane.
