MY FAULT

Can any step mother become a real mother no matter what the situation is? Can she see all her children in one light? What if her own child is suffering from her own doings but she can't see and held her step children responsible for it?

This OS is on the show "Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil" which aired from 3rd March 2008 to 5th February 2010. The track is based after Veera's death. Here Gayatri openly accuses Nihal and Heer for Veera's death and summons Prem to choose between his mother and wife.

It had been 10 days since Veera Juneja had left the world leaving her mother in a false belief that her(Veera's) husband was the root cause of her death or in other words he had killed her. Not only her husband but also her elder sister-in-law, Heer Juneja was equally responsible for her tragic untimely demise.

It had been 10 days since Gayatri Juneja had lived a life full of grief for her youngest child and full of revenge for her daughter-in-law, who, she thought, was the sole reason for the end of her daughter's life.

It had been 10 days since Prem Juneja had smiled as the guilt of not being able to save his little sister, whom, he considered his own child, was swallowing him inside.

AND it had been 10 days since Heer Juneja had been divided into two selves between her paternal family and the family of her in-laws.

Though the entire Juneja family was drowned in sorrow for the demise of the youngest member of the family, they never blamed Nihal or Heer in that case. But Gayatri was not the old Gayatri; in those 10 days she had changed completely. The motherly love and affection that Heer used to receive from her mother-in-law was somewhere missing and she did feel that.

"Didi...Didi..." Meher called Heer. She could easily sense the worry and panic in her younger sister's voice.

"Yes Meher, what happened? You are sounding very tensed", asked Heer.

"Didi..actually...wo..police has arrested Nihal bhiya suspecting him for Veera's death", Meher informed with teary eyes.

"What!" was the only word that could manage to slip from her mouth. Shock was clearly visible on her face.

Listening to the noise other members of the family came out of their rooms and Meher informed them the situation.

"But beta who had filed the complaint against him?" asked her father-in-law, Lalit.

"Pata nahi bauji. Bas unhone kaha ke Nihal bhaiya ko arrest kar liya hai", sobbed Meher.

"Tu ro mat Meher. I am going there. Everything's gonna be fine. Nihal bhaiya will soon be released", Heer tried to console her sister.

"But first of all we need to know who had filed the complaint", Kulraj, her elder sister-in-law, suggested.

"Ji didi...I am going to police station to find out this", Heer informed them.

Prem, Preet and Harman were standing there but none of them was trying to anything about it. Heer cast a glance at Prem silently asking him if he would go with her but he avoided his eye contact.

"Maine kiya", complaint a voice came from back before she took her step out of the house. Everyone turned and saw Gayatri was standing there with eyes full of rage.

"Ma aapne?" asked Heer not believing her own ears.

"Yes", came her short reply.

"But why maa? Nihal bhaiya didn't do anything and you know that. It was an accident. I know that you are still in shock but..."she couldn't complete her sentence as Gayatri showed her palm to stop her.
