Oddballs

Intro

"Purrcilla!!"

A light tan tom yelled towards a calico mixing around in a large cauldron. He marched over with a dark brown she-cat and a white she-cat following behind.

The calico didn't look up from her work until the tom was almost next to her. She tilted her head, "Yes, Edward? You need something??"

"Exactly who," Edward spoke furiously, "gave you the permission to do this?!?"

"Edward, what exactly are you talking about?" The white she-cat interjected, trying to figure what he was so worked up about.

While the brown she-cat nodded in agreement, Edward marched his way around Purrcilla, to the other side of her cauldron.
"This, is what I am talking about," He said through his teeth with annoyance as he held up several eggs with a variety of markings.

The white cat looked for a moment, "So, there are more eggs? I'm sorry I don't see your point, Edward."

"Then allow me to elaborate..." Though he didn't mean to have spite, it was still there.
He set the eggs backs down in the basket he got them from, then picked up and carried the basket back to the other side of the cauldron.

"H-hey!" Purrcilla tried to stop him from taking the eggs, failing when he set the basket down and whipped his head around to glare at her, nose scrunched up.

"These eggs have been made without the consent of any of the 'parents' whose DNA are attached to them," Edward moved the eggs closer to the girls while he continued to look pissily at Purrcilla.

The brown she-cat leaned down to inspect the eggs. She glanced over each one before sitting back up, "Purrcilla..."

"Hm?" Purrcilla leaned to her left to look at the cat. "Yes, Kai?"

"... Apologise," Kai looked at her dead in the eyes.
"There is nothing we can do, now that they exist. Apologise to Edward so we can sit down and chat about the situation we've fallen into."

"Situation?" The white she-cat was still not fully caught up with what was going on.

"She took fur without the hero's permission and made an offspring from it, Catniss," Kai said, simply.

"I think there needs to be more than an apology!" Edward flattend his ears.

"Later, Edward," Kai shook her head.

"Bu-"

"Later," Kai said lowly, as a warning to Edward. "Conan will handle any further decisions on this matter. For now, Purrcilla needs to tell us about these eggs."

Edward shut up, unhappily of course. He sat down, obviously not currently pleased, even after what Kai said about later discussions about potential punishments.
He felt his privacy had be invaded.
