By the time I went home. Mom is fast asleep so I sleep too.
The next morning.
"Clarin wake up." I heard someone says. I open my eyes then I happen to see Clea. What the hell is she doing here? I sit up immediately then wipe off my sleep.
"What are you doing here?" My voice is angry and I'm thirsty. She flip her short stupid her then roam her eyes around my room. "Your mom told me to wake you up." She said wryly. She's so hypocrite, really. I am beyond amuse about her she doesn't know how to act wise. Poor acting.
"Get out, bitch." I snapped at her. I saw her smirking so I hold a grip into my pillow before I could kick her out. "Well, get ready for school darling." She said happily. Damn you!
There's no school today, I wanted to tell her but I just don't care. She went out then I step in into the shower room. I read the website says that there will be no classes because some maintenance will be conducted today and I am thankful I can go skate with Ruby later today.
After shower, I wear tight sexy jeans and just a pink halter top. I dried my hair before curling its ends. I put a little make up then pull out my rolling skater into the dresser then I head downstairs.
Ruby is finally sitting in the counter. I saw her giving her fake smile. I bet it's for Clea.
"Rubs!" I called out her name. She instantly hug me. I heard her sigh. Oh, God! I know talking to Clea is that bad.
"Is she your friend?" Clea butt in. I sit beside Ruby then dig in into my toasted bread.
"Obviously." I told her while rolling my eyes. "Are you ready?" I asked Ruby, we can't be late today. Today's the hockey game in the rink.
"Yup, I am just waiting for you." She told me. "Aren't you girls supposed to be dressed now to go to school?" Mom joined us while pouring our glasses a juice.
"There's no classes today Veronica." Too late, Ruby already told Mom. Clea isn't surprised and just watching us.
"I wonder why?"
"It's on the website." I told her. Finishing my bread and gulping my juice. I hastily brushed my teeth then we left them both. I don't want to stay there for too long. Clea's present is irritating me. By the time we went out then hop in her car. We both laughed.
"She's hilarious Clarin! See her face? She's faking it!" She told me. She inserts the key then drive along the road.
"Anyways," She glanced at me then back to the road. "Caleb your hell of a cousin told me that there is a new set of players in the ice hockey." She said happily. I quickly face her to hear more of what's she's saying.
"Really?" I sound really excited because I really am. That would be so nice, I'm sick of watching old players since then.
"Yup, and they're from Bronx College." She said. I pouted, I always wanted to visit that school since I have so many friends there. But knowing that the NYU hockey players will oppose the Bronx will be nice and exciting.
"Well, we're here!" I removed my seatbelt then get off the car. Ruby pulled into somewhere. And it's a stall.
"No, I won't." I quikly refuse. I won't wear any shit like that. Caps and shirt? She's currently trying a shirt now.
"Come on, all NYU students wear these." She pouted her lips. I looked around people and they are really all matching with our team's shirt so I cringe.
"But not me. I don't wear this thing in my head." I hold the blue cap then gesture her the big sticker emblazoned on it.
"Just once, you never wear anything before." She insists so I groaned. She just won't stop babbling around.
