A young girl was curled in a corner as a man with a green scarf held her trying to calm her down. They both were in a cage in the nether. The young girl was named Mel. She was the twin sister to a guard in the small village of Meteli. She was a long way from home and she didn't think she was ever going back. The man was a Lord's youngest son who died and was brought back to life as a shadow knight by he was not cruel like the others. He was gently and acted with kindness towards the girl but he knew was to become of her. He knew what they were going to do to her.

"Hey it's okay..you're going to be fin-" The man spoke before he was interrupted by another shadow knight who went by the name Sasha.

"I wouldn't lie to her if I were you, Vlad. You know exactly what's going to happen to her," Sasha spoke as she held up a key to the ceil. Vlad just held the girl as he glared at Sasha.

"I won't let you turn her into a shadow knight. She doesn't need to go through the same pain you are going to put her brother through..." Sasha just laughed and opened the ceil. Once she got it open she cast a spell on Vlad, freezing him in his spot. Sasha walked over to them and grabbed Mel.

"No! Let go of me! Let go!" Mel shouted as she was being dragged out of the ceil. Once the ceil was closed Vlad was unfrozen.

"Sasha don't do this!! Please!!" He shouted clutching his hands against the bars of his ceil. All Vlad could hear was Mel's screams for hours. They knew he could hear her. They made it so he could hear how he failed to protect Laurence's sister as he promised her when she was put in his ceil.
