I

I remember seeing this very sight with her so long ago. Lying down under the spring trees, being by her side, gazing up at those shining starts that cease to show off their beauty. The spot we've always been together for remains untouched, our very own Garden of Eden was what I called it.

"Oh, how I wonder what you'd say if you saw me today...." I spoke out loud to myself, only to hear the distant sound of birds, singing their melodies and crickets calling out. Taking down a fruit of labor from the tree, I bit off a piece of the it, savoring the crunch of the crisp skin, chewing down on the flesh of the succulent fruit. I know it's just an apple, but it's almost as sweet as her, tough on the outside, sweet on the inside.

Although I do really miss you, I think I understand why you left on that journey. A cub cannot stay a cub forever, they will have to leave the den and become an adult. I have no claws, no fangs, only my two hands. You had your voice, almost like that of a harp, elegant and calming. With the help of others, I have created this village in front of our garden, but if you had been in my stead, surely it would have been a great city.

'Boss? I've noticed you've been up here and awful lot" My train of thought was shattered by the rumble of his voice

"Ah yes, it was because it is a place someone dear to me use to go to, our little"

"Garden of Eden was it?" He answered before I could, with a soft smile. It seemed that he had heard me speak of it before to my surprise.

"Is everything alright?" I asked him. He had nodded, handing me a letter before going off. It had a peculiar writing. Holding the letter, I decided to climb up the tree, watching the sunset over the horizon. It had looked like the very tree I laid upon split the sky into both day and night right down the middle. Over these years without you, I have grown so much.

"I wonder, would you be proud of me today?" I asked myself.

"Of course I'm proud of you, I always was. Don't worry, I'm here to stay this time." Tears flowed down my eyes as I heard that gentle voice. After all these years, wet finally meet again, my angel.
