Anne's POV

Aghhhhh, Gilbert Blythe or how she call him Mr.Blythe was the most annoying person in the whole world. Since he decided that he will stay in Avonlea, of course he came back to school Anne thought that after Sebastian's wedding he would be a little bit less annoying. But she was wrong he became more and more annoying.

He spend the whole lesson looking at her everyone has seem to notice that even Ruby, was mad like really really mad.

He just acts like a gentleman with me, he opens the door for her, when they talk he looks at her with that gorgeous eyes- wait what. Gorgeous eyes ?! Why did she say gorgeous eyes, was she out of her mind or what ? No no no Gilbert did had gorgeous eyes, cure fluffy hair- AGAIN ?! What was happening to her. "I'm gonna close my eyes and try to sleep a bit" she said to herself. Tomorrow was gonna be a good day

Oh boy she was wrong

"Goodbye Marilla! " I said while closing the door, I'm going trough the woods looking for Diana as always.
"Hello Anne" someone says, she could recognize that voice everywhere. "Perfect just perfect" I muttered to myself of all the people it has to be him of course.
"Someone is a bit mad" he says looking at him, again with those gorgeous eyes, NO STOP IT. I start glaring at me feet.

"You okay Anne?" He says with concern eyes. He wants to know if I'm okay? How cute is that. NO WHAT I sound like Diana or Ruby what is wrong with me ?? I have to talk to Diana right NOW. I turn around and start walking fast to school just like old times, he follows me very close at me feet. "Anne? Why are you running" he says. "I am not running Gilbert, I'm walking fast" I say playfully "oh it's the same" he says not noticing the the grin that starts painting on my face. "Oh Gilbert you say you are smarter than me and you don't even know the difference between running and walking" i say turning around giving him time so he would see that I am only joking.

"Oh, so we are playing like this huh" he says with mischief in his eyes, I didn't knew this Gilbert I quite like it "what do you mean with-wow!" He picks me up by my waist. Before I realize what's going on he starts to run. Oh no this is going to be a long day, "Gilbert Blythe put me down right now !" I say, what is he thinking about, what will people say about us in Avonlea and in school.

Gilbert's POV

"Oh come on Anne let's have a little bit of fun" I say, what is happening to me I am not like this, but she seems to enjoy it because she doesn't stop smiling. That cute smile.

In this past months I realize I have fallen for Anne, it is an amazing but bad feeling because I think I have to be close to her always, but she doesn't like me at all.

We are close to school from here I see Diana, Moody, Charlie, and Ruby. Oh no Ruby is gonna freak out and Anne will be mad at me. Before I know what's happening Charlie screams, " Hey Gilbert what do you have in your back ?" Oh no "is that, is that ANNE ?" Diana screams,no no no

Anne's face expression changes she is afraid, I can see if she isn't okay. Slowly I put her down "Anne what's wrong ?" I say she looks terrified oh god

"Goodbye" she says "No Anne wait !" Before I can make her stay she is already gone

When I get to school Anne is already there, Ruby's eyes looks red and puffy, she must have been crying, and Anne doesn't even look at me

Anne's POV
"Ruby !" I say, oh no she saw me and Gilbert "I promise is not what it looks like, remember when I told you that I wasn't a Gilbert fan? Well I am not ! I swear Ruby" I say she is crying

Tears are threatening to fall I can't lose my friends because of Gilbert she is more important that he my friends are what I love the most. "You-you we're together, like you did before you said you weren't going to talk to him!" She says, before I can say a thing she runs inside school

Diana runs after her "Anne we will talk later okay? Let me see if I can do something with Ruby" she says before going inside. This is a mess and it is my fault, they told me to stay away from Gilbert and I didn't do it

I go inside, I try to talk to Ruby she must be really sad
"Ruby" I called for her "Anne?" She says turning around from her seat "Oh Ruby I am so sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. Can you forgive me ?" I say begging I can't lose her "Okay, but please stay away from him" she says how am I suppose to stay away from Gilbert, but she is my friend and I have to do it

"Anne.." Diana says she looks quite..happy? "Why are you looking at me like that ?" I say "looking at you like what ?" She says wiggling her eyebrows with a smirk "With that face you did when you wanted to give Ruby the letter I got from Gilbert !" I say losing it
"Anne shh someone is gonna hear you" she says laughing "And now why are you laughing huh?" I say, she thinks I like Gilbert or what? Because I definitely don't like Gilbert Blythe. He thinks he is so good and everything he thinks he is better than me, but on the other side he is kind of cute with that gorgeous eyes
NO this can't be happening, I can't like him right ?

I spend the whole lesson seeing him he caught me eyeing him I couple of times and oh boy he is really really cute, Diana was right when she told me he was cute.

" Class Dismissed!" Mrs. Stacy said I jump from my seat to go and take my things. I stopped in the door waiting for Diana "Anne?" A voice said "Hello Mr.Blythe what do you need" I answered coldly "Anne I really need to talk to you" he said "I can't I am wating for Dia-" she got me off "Actually, I want to walk alone today Anne, sorry" Diana said, oh you little "Shall we ?" Gilbert said "Okay but quickly" I said looking for Ruby in the crowd of people

We started to walk, he finally broke the awkward silence "Anne I'm really sorry I didn't mean to make you feel upset I was just having a bit of fun, but Ruby has to make a big deal of it and it isn't fair right ?" He said apologizing. That was really really sweet "Gilbert you are forgiven but Ruby told me not to talk to you and I don't want to lose her friendship because it mean a lot to m- and I am so sorry I am rambling again haha" I said everything too fast "She told you that ? How dare she, Anne I will talk to her and everything is going to be fine. By now can, can we be friends ?" He asked, he looked like...scared

"Yes Gilbert we can be friends" I said smiling it was a really nice feeling "Well now that we are friends can I join you to your way back home ?" He said narrowing his arm so I'll take it "Of course" I said giggling and taking his arm

Oh boy

Gilbert Blythe is going to be the death of me
