8th of November, 2014

I've been busying myself with random duties that involved me leaving the house for hours on end. I really did the not want to face Aisling after all those things I said to her two nights ago. Even though what she did to me was hurtful, I was still a bit too harsh on her and the guilt was eating me alive. I've never spoken to a girl in that tone before.

I sighed as I turned onto the street that led up to the mansion. I got back from the post office early with the box of clothing Aisling had ordered online. There wasn't a line up so I got the package faster than assumed. After the gate was opened, I zoomed up the long driveway and parked right in front of the main doors, but behind a car that looked very familiar.

I stayed in the car until whoever was in the vehicle in front of me got out. Not to my surprise, James stepped out and went around to open the door for Aisling. I huffed and rolled my eyes, also getting out of the car and going to the boot.

James took notice of me and smirked before putting his arms around Aisling. She looked uncomfortable and a bit terrified but who was I to care. We are strictly on business terms now.

"Hello, Niall." James said, a sadistic smile permanently placed on his lips.

"Hello, asshole." I muttered, lifting the giant box with my left hand, securely propping it on my forearm, and shutting the boot with my right. I carried the heavy box towards the front door but stopped near them for a moment. "I picked up your parcel. Anything else you need me to do?" Aisling didn't answer, though. She stared at my left arm and I followed her gaze, as did James. I noticed her staring at my hoodie covered bulging bicep. I smirked for a second before putting on my poker face. "Uhm, Aisling? Need me to go to town for anything else?"

James adjusted his arms a bit, causing her to hiss. It was probably because she was abruptly drawn back from adoring my muscles.

"The servant asked if you needed him to go back to town for anything." He spat.

"He's not a servant, James." She muttered.

"What?" He seethed.

"Nothing. I didn't say anything." Aisling scratched the top of her head and looked me in the eyes. "No, Niall. I don't need you to go back into town. Thanks. But if you could, can you please set that box on my bed? And run a hot bath? Emphasis on the hot, if you noticed."

"Sure. Anything else?"

"Peach scented bath bomb? And side of pumpkin spice tea? The way you prepare it?"

"Of course, ma'am." I went into the house and made a beeline for Aisling's bedroom. I set the box on her bed and went to the bathroom. After I had filled the bathtub to the perfect depth, I began to look through the cabinets for her so-called bath bomb, whatever the fuck that was. "Irena?" I yelled, "I need you help because I am a boy and I'm stupid."

I heard footsteps and I turned around to see her smirking at me, "You hollered and I'm here. What do you need, stupid boy?"

"I am going to so regret admitting that to you," I chuckled, "I need a thing called peach scented bath bomb. What is that and where can I find it?"

Irena threw her head back and laughed. She walked toward the small cabinet above the toilet and pulled out a little box. "Here it is. You just drop it into the water and it will fizz."

"Thank you, lifesaver!"

"What're friends for, yeah?" She smiled before exiting.

"Yeah," I said to myself, "friends." I dropped the chalky ball thing into the hot water and watched it deteriorate, turning and making the bathe smell like peaches. I walked out of the bathroom and bumped right into Aisling. She was crying. "Aisling? What happened?" I hesitantly put my hands on her shoulders and tried to look her in the eyes. "Did... Did James hurt you? Tell me right now if he did. I will kill him if he put you in this state."
