-tuesday after school-

leylani's pov
"damn these are super cute" jaden said as we walked around the mall.
"so lani , whats up with you and emmaunuel?" Monica asked wiggling her eyebrows at me. I laughed.
"what you mean? we're just friends" i told her . "mhmm don't lie to us. i see the way yall look at each other" jaden said laughing. "no we just met. I mean he's cute but he doesn't look at me like that" I told them.
      "yeah whatever . bet yall gonna be dating by the end of the month" Monica said. I shook my head laughing at them. "hey lets go in here" I said leading them to Footlocker.
We looked at the shoes when we heard someone yell. "YOOO LANI"
We turned our heads and saw Manny & the boys. I smiled at him . "wassup manny" i said as he pulled me into a long hug. "damn mama you lookin good today" he told me as looking me up and down while licking his lips. Out of the corner of my eyes , I could see Monica smirking at us.
"thanks , you don't look to bad yourself" i said blushing . He smiled at me and put his arm around me while we heard everybody else talk.
      " so what yall doing over here anyways?" Monica asked the boys. " we tryna hang out with yall . some wrong with that?" Carlos said to Monica as he wrapped his arm around her. She just gave him a look.
Manny tapped my shoulder causing me to look up at him. He nodded his head toward the door and grabbed my hand. "aye we'll see yall later" manny said to the group leading me out of Footlocker.
