"Sammy! We should totally buy a watermelon!" A girl with tied back red brown hair loudly cheered, the people who were walking past her looking over, confusion and annoyance in their eyes.
"Nydia.. How would we cut it, and if not eat it here, how in the world are we gonna get it on the plane without someone noticing we brought an entire watermelon on the plane." Sammy responded, looking over at Nydia with a confused, yet as usual, serious facial expression."Good questions... Hey Alex! If we bought a watermelon, where would we hide it when we were going on the plane?" Nydia asked the boy next to her, a serious expression on her face.
"What..?" Alex asked, looking at the two girl with a bemused expression, his arm going to his side as he looked at the two girls. "Why in the world would you buy a watermelon? And even then, why take it on the plane? Can you even get a WATERmelon on a plane when they don't allow anything over 3 ounces of liquid on it?"
"I don't know, but it's worth a shot! Plus, if we do get the watermelon on the plane, we'll share it with you!" Nydia cheered once more, looking 5 times more excited than she originally was.
"Fine. I'll help you. But if we get in trouble, im blaming you!" Alex said as he gave the two a stern look.
"Yay! Now, let's buy that watermelon!" Nydia whisper yelled as one of the teachers looked over at the trio.
"Where would we hide it from them?" Sammy whispered, looking at Alex as he shrugged.
"Well, you have a big 'ol bag! I can take some of the stuff in it and put it in mine, and then you can keep the watermelon in your bag!" Nydia explained as she pulled some cash out of her wallet. "And then, with your permission, Alex, we could put the watermelon in the bell of your tuba!"
"How long have you been planning this..?" Alex asked the hyperactive girl as she swiftly moved over to the fruit stand.
"Since we got to LA and saw that there was a crap ton of fruits!" Nydia responded as she started to talk to the seller.
"Umm... I now have the dreadful feeling that we may or may have not screwed ourselfs, and something bad is going to happen to us and the watermelon later..." Sammy whispered to Alex.
"I know this is a shock, but i'm going to have to agree. This isn't settling well in my stomach... Or maybe it's the churros that's not settling well.." Voice dying out as he went into his thoughts, Sammy smacked her forehead in annoyance.
"Why do I even bother." Sammy muttered as Nydia rushed over, a small watermelon in her hands.
"I got one! Its small, but still big enough for three people to eat! Man, this is going to be so amazing if we're actually able to pull this off." Nydia exclaimed, dragging out the last couple words as she watched Sammy shrug off her backpack.
"Yes, yes it will. Now quickly, put it in! It should be small enough to fit in without trouble." Rushing her, Nydia swiftly put the water melon into the large bag, moving it around so it wasn't as noticable.
"Well, I guess we should catch up with the rest of the band." Alex said as he pulled himself off the wall he was resting on, a small smirk on his face.
"We probably should. Last one to the rest is a rotten egg!" Sammy exclaimed as she suddenly started to run, Alex and Nydia swiftly following behind.
"Why do we always do this!?" Nydia cried out is exhaustion when they finally reach the other, a couple of the band students looking at the trio with confusion.
