Chapter 04:
1st person «Louis»

After I passed by the schools, leaving my sisters at each of them, I stepped onto my campus, scared of yesterday's incident, i went around to the back, and through that door instead of the main.

Once I closed the back door, I heard a click as it locked. I turned around and nearly ran into the wall, causing me to spill my tea all over me from my jump. I ran to the washroom, needing to clean myself up.

As I entered through the slate black door, I ran straight into something again, but this time it was a tall man I have never seen before.

"I'm so sorry," I apologized, looking the boy in his eyes. They were brown, along with his hair. His eyes glared at mine, and he wore a frown on his face. He pushed me back into the door, making it slam against the wall behind it.

"Take it easy why don't you," he warned, causing tears to line the edges of my eyes, eager to fall any second.

"He didn't mean to, look at him, he's got something spilt all over, you wouldn't want to be in public like that would you?" I heard another voice from inside the bathroom, it was deeper than this boy's.

"Whatever," the boy spoke in annoyance, glaring at me while backing up into where the other boy was.

I gently closed the door, and softly stepped into the bathroom. The boy who spoke up for me was sitting on the counter scrolling thru his phone. He looked up at me and smiled, he had brown hair as well, curly, and down to his shoulders.

"What's your name?" He asked, I wondered why he cared, he seemed like just another "bad boy," but he answered anyway.

"Louis, and yours?" I said, while running the water, and putting a paper towel under it.

"Harry," I dabbed at the spot of my sweatshirt filled with tea, trying to remove the big stain that it will soon leave. "What happened?" Harry asked, I looked up to see him still looking me in the eyes, he had very nice eyes, green.

"I, ran into a wall," I shook my head, cringing at how clumsy that made me sound. The other boy chuckled, making me frown mentally.

"Liam, shut the fuck up," Harry hopped down from his place on the counter, walking over to me. "Do you want help?" He asked, and I started to get suspicious, on how he keeps defending me.

"No, uh, it's okay I think," I said, shyly, now realizing how attractive this boy is. I've never seen him before, I'm guessing he's new, but he looks like he wouldn't like me.

"Not much you can do about it now right?" He joked, laughing softly. He  had a beautiful smile, and absolutely flawless skin.

"Right," I smiled and laughed a bit.

"Do you have another jumper? Or another shirt you could wear?" I stopped laughing, and quickly shook my head, while focusing back on the bandaged area of my arm.

"Nope, this is it," I also didn't own another sweatshirt other than the one I was wearing, I was lucky not to get any blood on it yesterday.

"Oh yeah," he opened his mouth to talk again, but was cut off by the long bell which rang through the halls.

"I should get going," I said and began walking towards the door, not wanting to be late for my first class.

"Me too, what do you have right now?" Harry asked, walking behind me.

"English," I told him.

"I've got biology," he said, even though I didn't ask.

"Oh okay," I said, turning back towards the door.

"I've got English right now as well," the other boy chimed in. We exited into the hallway, filled with many students talking with others.

"Well, my time has come, I'm sorry I couldn't help you with your jumper," Harry said as he began walking the different direction.

"I'm Liam, nice to meet you Lewis," Liam said, turning to me while walking in the same direction, towards English class.

I honestly enjoy English, I like our teacher, Mr. Jones. He's very funny, never fails to make me laugh. The only thing is, he assigns a shit ton of homework, which is fine, but I don't have much time to do it, seeing I need to take care of my sisters, but I make it work. Usually completing it around midnight, or having Lottie watch them while.

"Louis," I corrected him, "that's one of my biggest pet peeves is when somebody Lewis instead of Louie," I laughed, but then realized who I was talking to.

"I call you whatever I want," Liam said, swinging his arm over my shoulder, causing me to flinch.

"Oh, okay," I respond, and look down.

Once we both arrived to English, I attempted to sit in the from, pulling out the chair from the desk. But it was pushed back into the table, as I felt a tug on my hoodie pulling me backwards.

I fell back, crashing into Liam, who was pulling me.

"Watch yourself," he warned, then kicked me gently, and stood there, waiting for me to get up from the floor.

Once I was up, he walked to the back of the classroom, I watched him as he sat down in the furthest back chair. Then he motioned his hand, meaning for me to sit in the desk next to him.

I shyly walked over, cautious of any feet being thrown in front of me if anybody were to trip me. Once I got to the back, I pulled out the chair closest to Liam, placed my bag near my feet, and sat down.

I pulled my books out, placing them all in front of me and flipping to the correct page before Mr. Jones came in.

The next hour was filled with mean remarks from Liam, although I never had the gut to do something about it.
