My Name Is Arianna Jade Lewis And I Attend Westlake High School In Fulton County Georgia. Nobody Really Knows Me There Because I’m A Nobody. I Live With My Mom And Her Boyfriend, They Aren’t The Best Of Parents. I Have Short Brown Hair And I’m A Big Girl. My Mom Constantly Puts Me Down About My Weight And So Does Her Boyfriend Mike.

It Was August 6th, The Frist Day Back To School After Summer Break. Even Though I Was Treated Bad At Home, I Always Dreaded This Day Because It’s Not Like I Was Treated Any Better At School Than At Home.

I Had Absolutely No Friends. Everybody Talked About Me. I Sat Alone At Lunch.

I Rolled Out Of My Bed At 6:30 AM And Walked To The Bathroom. I Jumped In The Shower And Used The Last Little But Of Hot Water Mike And My Mom Actually Left Me This Morning. I Rinsed Off My Body And Stood In The Shower For About 20 Minutes After About 10 Minutes The Water Started Getting Cold, But I Just Didn’t Feel Clean After 10 Minutes. So I Took A Shower In Cold Water For The Rest Of The Time.

I Got Out Of The Shower And Walked Towards My Little Room In The Apartment At The End Of The Hall. I Walked To My Drawer And Grabbed The Lotion I Sat On The Bed And Lotioned My Body Down And I Put On My Bra And Panties. I Walked To My Closet To Find What I Was Going To Wear. I Didn’t Have Much But I Managed With What I Had.

I Picked Out My Ripped Jeans And I Purple V-Neck With My Black Converse. I Put On Some Deodorant And Grabbed My Bag And Through It Over My Shoulder And I Walked Out Of My Room. I Walked Down The Hallway To The Kitchen And Saw My Mom And Mike At The Table Eating. I Looked At Them And Shook My Head. They Made Enough Breakfast For Them And Not For Me.

“Mom, Can I Have Money For Food” I Asked My Mom With My Head Down.

“Here!” She Said Loudly, Throwing 2 One Dollar Bills At My Face

I Felt The Paper Rub Against My Face

“What Am I Supposed To Do With 2 Dollars” I Said

“Eat” She Said With An Attitude You Don’t Need That Much Food You Already Big.

Those Words Hurt Me The Most Because They Were Coming From My Mom.

I Heard Mike Snickering In The Background.

I Couldn’t Be There Anymore. I Walked Out The Door Towards The Apartment Complex Bus Stop.

I Stood Outside By Myself While Everybody Was Standing Around With Their Friends.

About 10 Minutes Later The Bus Pulled Up. Everybody Pushed Past Me And Got On The First. When I Got On The Bus I Could Hear Whispers From Everywhere And People Laughing.

“Y’all Look At Precious” I Heard A Voice Say

Everybody Busted Out Laughing

 I Knew Exactly Who It Was Who Said It. It Was The Most Popular Boy In School Jadarion Wright.

I Ignored It And Sat In The Very Front Seat Of The Bus Where I Always Sat.

I Put My Headphones In My Little Cheap MP3 Player And Tuned Everybody Out On The Way To School.
