David woke up with happiness. He usually does, because that's just him. He threw his legs off his bed, his body following, and started to dig into his nightstand.
There were two types of pill bottles buried underneath everything else, one in case he forgets to smile, and the other for his legs. He hates it when he feels bugs crawling in his skin, and he doesn't want others to see him sad. He knows he won't be sad, he's usually always very happy on his own. His doctor says otherwise, though. ("You need to take both," his doctor says, giving him some medicine and taking out a clipboard.
"Is this safe, Doctor Return?" David asked, not entirely trusting him. The doctor just nodded in response, completely ignoring him.) He would take both, but he can take the other one later, for now, get rid of the jitters in his legs. He took his pill bottles and headed for the bathroom.
After taking medicine and doing his normal morning routine, he went straight to work. He started scrubbing and putting up tents, and by the time it was his break, an angry girl woke up.
"DAVID, WHERE THE HELL IS MY COFFEE MACHINE!?" She asked, rushing over to David as soon as she saw him.
"Why, GOOD MORNING, Gwen!" David smiled cheerfully, "The coffee machine should be where you left it! But you can use mine if you were—" it didn't even take a second for Gwen to run into David's area for precious coffee. David smiled with a slight chuckle, before heading for the entrance of this entire camp.
The bus arrived with only one boy, David didn't mind, it was actually surprised that there was a kid coming so early. They usually arrived later.
"Why, good morning, happy camper! I'm David, it's so nice to meet you," David smiled cheerfully. The kid simply rolled his eyes, ignoring David. This kid wore a contrasting blue hoodie, blue jeans, and red shoes with white stripes and black laces. Black poofy hair barely passed his ears, matching his tanned skin. A duffle bag hanged by his arm beside him.
"Cut the bullshit, just lead me to wherever the fuck I'm going to be sleeping for the next few months I stay at this hell." The young boy said, glaring. He had big ice-cold mountain meadow eyes, piercing into your soul with hatred, bags laying under his eyes.
"Hey..." David glared, with a slight frown. Instead of yelling or sending this boy into his tent, David said, "Language." Like that'll stop this boy from cursing. The boy squinted his eyes, eventually rolling his eyes and walking off. "Hey, wait for me!" David frown again, running after the kid. Before David can continue talking to this kid, Gwen ran out yelling.
"DAVID, WHERE THE FUCK IS—" Gwen paused, seeing a kid standing next to David, having a blank face, which was ruined quickly by an evil expression, "Fuck, kid, don't say shit about this."
"Oh, don't worry, I want as long as you let me curse." The kid smirked. David was about to protest, saying that no one should actually curse, but Gwen spouted out a "Deal!" before he could say anything.
"Say, what's your name anyway?" Gwen asked the little bastard in front of him.
"Name's Max, what's your bitch?" Max smirked.
"I'm Gwen... Wait, BITCH, WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!?" Gwen yelled angrily. Max simply walked away with a grin as Gwen shouted profanities at him, ending with a 'FUCK YOU AND YOUR LITTLE GRIN!' As David tried to stop Gwen from yelling at a ten-year-old.
