Arriving Home

Zuri pov
      We're on the bus home from our last year at camp. We've made it to NYC now I can see our penthouse building. I look over to the other side of my seat. Griff.

     I see he is asleep. I giggle a little as his messy unkept brown hair. We're about home so I tickle him to wake him up. He wakes up chuckling. He looked at me and grinned.

            "Stop that" he says playfully grinning ear to ear.

          I stop and rest my hand in his lap. He smiles at it.  

             " Why are you so happy" I say giggling. 

              " Well I get to spend a whole year and more with you"
He smiled.  

         That's when I got into one of my long thinking sessions again.
Griff, I love him to death. To much to explain. I loved seeing him happy not only because I love him but because he really has not had many chances to be happy. Before Griff came to camp kikiwaka he had it hard. He was in Juvie, for stealing loads of stuff. He did not have a faimly... I always had everything, I thought. Feeling terrible.   

         "Helloooo,Earth to zuri"
    " Sorry Griff I got into a daydream" I say giggling.

    Griff pov 
Zuri,Emma,Xander,Ravi, and I get off the bus. I walk by zuri. We walk into the building being greeted by Tony. He gives us all hugs. When he sees me and Zuri walk by he winks at me. I can see him mouth out the words"Watch out, she's a feisty one" "I'm aware I mouth back grinning.

        Me and Zuri walk up to her penthouse first. "Bye Griff" she says smiling. I grin. "See you later " I say. Grinning

     Emma pov
Zuri is 16 now. She has the right to date someone but I don't know if Griff is the right one. It's just zuri is already a bad ass so..she doesn't need to date one. Right..? I ask myself l. Ahh this is giving me a headache. I'll talk to Xander about it.

    Griff pov
I finished unpacking at 7:30. I got a text from zuri...

Zuri: Hey
Griff: Hey zuzu
Zuri: Don't call me that!😣♥️
Griff: I can call you whatever I want your mine
Zuri:haha
Griff:can I come over? There is really nothing to do Xander and dad are already asleep.
Zuri:sure;) so is Emma Ravi and Jessie
Griff: What about betram?
Zuri: He's always asleep. Lol
Griff: Ha Ha 😊 I'm coming. I'll be there in about five minutes.

       Zuri pov
Yay! Griff is coming. Wait! I get up out of my bed and walk over to my mirror. I look hideous. I run to my closet and pick out one  of his hoodies he gave me. Then some black Nike short shorts. I put a little mascara on and put my hair in a flawless messy bun.
Perfect.
     Griff pov
I know zuri loves it when my hair is messy so I run my hands through it and mess it up. Then I put on a dog chain necklace with a picture of zuri and her name on it. I slide on my black Nikes. And head for the door. 

      I made it to the rosses penthouse. Zuri told me she left the door unlocked I tested it. It opened. I walked inside tryin to be queit. Even though it was 9:30 and everyone was probably dead asleep (except zuri) I still really did not wanna wake them up.

     I crept up the stairs and opened the door to zuris bedroom. I see zuri chilling on her bed looking at what looks like old photos. She notices me and smiles at me  
  " Hey Griff"
" Hey baby whatcha doin"
" I just found this deal of old pictures"...."me and you at camp when we were eleven...it was the day Luke came and you saved me from falling of the mountain. She smiled at the pictures.

  I looked at that photo it was me standing there laughing at luke and..zuri smiling at me. Looking at me.
      " You were so cute" I say lifting her chin up so her eyes meet mine. "Griff I love y-" I cut her off " Zuri you don't understand..when I first laid eyes on you at camp kikiwaka I was stunned you were the prettiest girl I had ever seen the prettiest girl at camp."

          "When all the other boys thought of the hot girl they thought of Emma but Me... I always thought of you"

      "And when I got to know you it made things even better."

          " You should ask xander" I chuckled " I would never stop talking about you at night" ... "And this is a little embarissing to say but I even said your name in my sleep" that's a when I noticed Zuri was staring at me she was in shock.

     "Sorry" I chuckled I laid my hand on her lap

   Zuri grabbed the photos and put them on her night stand . Then she did the unexpected. She 
Wrapped her arms around me and put her face only 1 centimeter from my face

       " I talked about you all the time too Griff". Zuri hopped into my lap and kissed me.

    I won't lie it felt like heaven.
