I Hate Insecurities
Lassi Cherivine

I hate the way I speak,
The way I walk,
The way I run,
The look I have when I'm thinking,
The look I have when I'm not.

I hate how I compare myself to others,
The way they walk,
The way they run,
How they always look perfect,
How I always do not.

I hate the way I cry myself to sleep,
Early in the morning when no one is up.

I hate how everyone says I am confident,
When I am hiding behind a shell of myself each day.

I hate when people say I am smart,
But I am not.
I am not smart enough to look through my eyes,
To see the lies I am telling,
To see what they are doing,

I hate insecurities.
