He was born to very light oriented parents, which was very unfortnate for him scince he was a child of the night. Every night creature respected and watched over him, not only because they knew of his destiny, but because they knew he would amount to great things.

As he grew older his family took their hatred to a whole knew level. They knew that he was their son but they did everything possible to not only make them forget it, but they also wanted to make it seem like it was his fault that he wasn't perfect in their eyes.

As a result of his parents hatred he only had the animals of the night and the moon for company, even though he didn't realize it they helped him more than he will know. The moon heard his constant pain and sent him a protector, but not just any protector, one of her own warriors, a panther, black as night, Nightlock.

He was scared as hell when a black panther approached him out of nowhere, but when he realized it wouldn't hurt him he approached it. When he touched the panther he heard a voice that shocked him so much he fell backward. The panther spoke to him with a voice that sent chills down his spine, "The wretched family you were born into was not meant to keep you. They want against fate when they did not give you to the local orphanage, where within a weeks time you would have been adopted by the darklights, where you would have known the love you were meant to have."

After the panther, Nightlock, delivered his message he faded back into the shadows. Nightlock gave him a lot to think about. After hours of mental battles raging on inside his head he has decided finding the Darklights is what he was meant to do. This is what I was meant to do, that is the thought that started the life of Daemon Shadis, "Demon Shadow."
