Deep in the forest of Gravity Falls, there stands a stone statue. Sinking into the ground, it sits with an extended open hand, waiting for a deal, someone foolish enough to shake it. Only one deal had been made. A deal made by a hiker, unaware of the history and dangers of the statue.
To fulfill the deal, the hiker had to perform a ritual. One to change the form of the statue to a demon, labeled 'Bill Cipher.' In return, the hiker would be able to have unlimited energy. The hiker quickly made the deal, shaking the statue's hand, not thinking of the consequences. Once the deal was fulfilled, the hiker ran off, while the statue changed.
The statue, once in the shape of a pyramid, was now a man. One with a piece of hair covered his left eye, along with a triangle eye patch. He wore a long black and yellow tailcoat with a brick pattern on the bottom. A pair of long black pants draped over his legs, almost attached to his shoes. He wore a bow tie and a devilish smirk on his face.
The hiker was running back to his camp, where his 10-year-old daughter sat in their tent. Her name was Y/N L/N. She wore a light pink dress, had H/C hair, E/C eyes, and S/C skin. The hiker eagerly told his daughter that he would be out on a run all day through the forest, neglecting to mention his deal. He ran out of the camp once again, and Y/N sat in the tent, once again alone. She wasn't sure why her father brought her camping, seeing as the hiker just went out the whole time, leaving her alone.
Something the hiker didn't know was the bad part of the deal. With unlimited energy, that meant that there was no energy to restore from sleeping, and too much to fall asleep. The hiker was fine not sleeping for the first two nights. He never felt better.
By the third and final night at the camp, he wanted to run. One last time. Little did he know this would be his last run. The hiker ran through the forest. It was almost completely dark. The hiker didn't know this forest well and was unaware that the forest ran to the edge of a cliff. At the last second, he saw the cliff. He didn't have enough time to stop and fell to his death.
In the morning, the hiker's daughter sat up in her tent and looked around. Her father was not with her. She went out of her tent and looked around. No one was in sight. The hiker's daughter went back into the tent and changed into a light blue dress, slipping on a pair of tennis shoes that her father bought her for the trip, which she hadn't yet worn. The shoes were mismatched with the dress she wore, but she didn't care, seeing as she was only 10.
She ran into the forest, looking for her father. She searched and searched, running through the woods until she could no longer see the path to which she came. She stumbled through the forest until it was noon. She closed her eyes for a tired and scared, only to trip on a branch and fall. The ground met her, shredding the bottom and front of her dress. After a moment, she stood up weakly, brushing off her dress and holding back tears. She didn't know what to do next. Walking through the trees once more, she hoped to stumble upon some sort of familiar landmark, or better yet, her father.
