I got ready for school. I was nervous it was my first day of high school. Sarah was still in middle school so it would just be me sadly. Hopefully I would be just as ok as I was in middle school but who knows.

Sarah knocked on my door " Come on lets go"

"Coming " I said. I grabbed my backpack and went out the door me and Sarah walked to school I had my learners permit but I liked the morning. My school wasn't that far away me and Sarah parted when we came to her school mine was a further walk.

I arrived in front of my new school. I went inside and headed to the office to find out where my locker was and my schedule.

My locker was right next to the bathrooms. My first class was math so I put the rest of my books in my locker.

"Hey" I looked over and a tall boy with dark brown hair and and brown eyes was standing next to me.

"Hi" I said

" so your new huh"

" Yeah I am do I stand out that much ? "

"No" he said " I smelled you, you don't some will notice but that's only because of your scent."

Wow. I'm pretty sure he was psycho he smelled me. what kind of thing was that to say I mean I didn't even wear perfume today.

" Do I smell good?" I said

" You smell kinda like wild flowers," I laughed

"Really I didn't even wear perfume today." he looked at me like I was crazy. If anyone was crazy it was him smelling me did he sneak up behind me or something? did other people do the same I was confused

"What's your name,"

" Woodlan. what's yours "

" I'm Justin what class do you have first"

" Math,"

" Cool me too I'll show you where it is."

Me and Justin got to class right when the bell rang I sat in the seat right next to him since he was about the only person I knew. Well kinda.

Math was boring and I was mad it was my first class. Why did I do this to myself? I almost dosed off multiple times because I stayed up So late.

It was time for lunch and I had no idea where to sit. Justin was sitting with a whole bunch of his friends at a full table so I would have to find somewhere else. It would have been easier if I never moved.

I decided to sit with these girls. I sat down

" Hi "

" Hi what's your name"

"Woodlan" I said. one of the girls had black hair and blue eyes the other was blonde with light brown eyes. They both had long hair. I did too my eyes were so dark they looked black and I had light brown hair.

"So Woodlan why are you here" the blonde said

"To eat lunch" I said

" I know that but in this area"

" Same answer" I said

" Don't play dumb with us "

"I'm not" I said why are people so weird here

" I know its impossible to hide" the girl with black hair said

"What are you talking about?" i said I was confused its impossible to hide. I wasn't hiding anything and in this area I was eating lunch and didn't know where to sit.

"I can smell you so I know so just stay away and on your side" they stood up and walked away. I threw my lunch away and walked to my locker.

What were they talking about. Stay on your side and how come everyone is smelling me and acting weird I was really confused.

My last class was history . I went into the class and sat down. The girls I met at lunch were in the back of the class talking and looking towards me. I knew they were talking about me. I could hear them the blonde was looking

straight at me and she knew I could hear her.

"She needs to leave" the blonde said

"How do you think Nathan is gonna react" Nathan whose Nathan I thought.

School was over and the bell rang I left the school confused an weirded out by my first day but I just put that behind me.

I waited at the tree me and Sarah were supposed meet at but she never showed up. It had been hours and it started to get dark and I got worried. I had called her and called her but she never answered. I called my mom and told her but she said she's probably running late. The moon was out and I just waited for Sarah.

I stared up at the moon. So pretty, So full I felt all warm inside and the thought of Sarah being hurt or something faded away everything did.
