“Wow! You are just so perfectly beautiful in that dress, love.”

Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya. Grabeng pambobola na naman ang pang-atake ng lalaking ito.

“Bakit mo ba kasi ako pinagbihis nang ganito, love? Alam mo namang enemy ko ang dress and heels!”

Nandito kami sa may garden dito sa aming bahay at katatapos naming kumain. Hindi ko alam kung anong trip ng lalaking to at nag-set up siya nang ganito kabongga. But I have to congratulate whoever did this set up, it’s so beautiful. May isang table sa gitna ng garden namin na napapalibutan ng roses at candles. Marami din nakasabit na mga ilaw sa buong paligid. But I really have no idea what’s happening. There’s no even a special occassion to be celebrated.

I heard him laughed, well my favorite laugh from my favorite person. I suddenly smiled.

“Dinner date nga ito love, paulit ulit tayo eh.”

Inirapan ko siya. Loko din eh. Tumayo siya at lumapit sa akin.

“Can I have this dance, beautiful lady?” Nakangiti niyang tanong sa akin habang nakalahad ang kanyang kamay.

“What if I say no?”

“I know you can’t say no to me.” Wow brave.

Pinanliitan ko siya ng mga mata then I smiled after. I held his hand then stood up. I can clearly see the smile in his face. He seems so happy now and it feels so great that I somehow make him happy.

Biglang tumugtog ang isang kanta. We started dancing. I am now hugging him while his hands are wrapped around my waist. This feels so good being with the person that means so much to you. How I love this man.

“Love?” I heard him say.

“Hmm.”

“I love you so much.”

I looked straight in his eyes. He has the most expressive eyes, you can tell how he really feel at the moment.

“I love you more, love.” Then kissed his left cheek.

Napaiwas siya ng tingin but I saw his smiles. Kinilig na naman siya. Haha.

Inalis niya yung hawak niya sa aking bewang. Then he held my both hands and kissed them.

“I keep on asking God, like what did I do to deserve someone like you?”

Di ako sumagot, nakangiti lang akong nakatingin sa kanya. I can feel his hands shaking. Grabe! Ano bang nangyayari sa lalaking ito at para siyang kabado.

“We’ve been together for almost six years, since highschool right?” Natawa ito pero naroon pa rin yung kaba sa itsura niya. “I want you to know that you are very important to me. You are the reason why I’m doing everything. Every morning, I feel so grateful for having you in my life. You give my life meaning and joy, you are the reason behind my smile.”

Napahigpit ako ng hawak sa kamay niya. I started to get so emotional with this talk right now.

“Before I met you, I didn’t think love was for me, it felt like it was more like a wish. But now that I’m with you, it’s so much more a wish or a dream, it’s the very real thing that I’ve ever had. I love you without knowing the reason why. Thank you for being the best and amazing person that you are. You always make me feel like I’m the happiest person in this world.” He added.
