"They really partnered me up with you?" Dianne looked over at Joe who was doing some sort of dying fish impression on the floor, bursting out in laughter. It was Week 3 for the dancing duo, American Smooth Week. Dianne was very nervous and apprehensive with it being Joes first ballroom dance but she had full faith in him, even if he was doing some awful dance moves right infront of her.

Joe looked over to Dianne, rolling his eyes. "I'd say i'm the unlucky one."

She poked his side before tickling him, both of them ending up in a laughing heap on the floor. "Just remember Suggy, who's the teacher and who's the student" Dianne laughed, bopping the end of his nose before untangling herself from Joe.

"Sorry Miss" he winked at her, shuffling himself up off the floor as Dianne held out her hands to help him up.

"Joe"

"Dianne"

"What even are we?"

They both burst out in heaps of laughter,Dianne leaning over Joe before meeting his gaze.

"We're us?" Joe burst out in laughter again, picking up the floppy Dianne and carrying her over to there starting position. "See how many times we can do it before laughing."

"Oi!" Dianne shouted, shaking his head at him before she turned on the music using Bluetooth. The melody kicked in as the routine started. They both got lost in the moment, elegantly moving around the floor as one before there gaze met at the end. She felt something. A connection. Joe pulled away quickly from her before leaning against the wall.

"What was wrong that time?"

"Nothing. Nothing at all"Dianne smiled, she sounded disheartened. From week one the pair had an undeniable connection, Dianne always laughed at Joes dad jokes and Joe knew what made her smile. Even though Dianne wasn't really officially split from Anthony, she felt something more with Joe. Scared to tell him. Scared to catch feelings.

Dianne had returned to her empty apartment that night once again, unlocking the door before sighing loudly. The loneliness only lead her mind to think about one thing. Joe. Lately it was the only thing she had on her mind, not even her 'boyfriend' was in her thoughts.

She began to make some food as she received a phone call. The phone bringing a few seconds before Dianne answered it. It wasn't the person she hoped it would be. ' Anthony. ' She sighed again before answering it.

" Hey Babe " a masculine voice said off the end of the phone. A feminine giggle in the background which only sent thoughts running through Dianne's mind.

" Don't give me that smooth talk. It's over."
