It was a boring rainy night, yet another one of Katherine Hostria's sleepless nights. It's currently 3:13 a.m. and it still feels like to her, it's just 10 in the evening.
She can't sleep even though she tries so hard, bored, she has nothing to do and no one to talk to.
A few minutes have passed by, and Katherine still hasn't had a shut eye, she was about to sleep when out of nowhere, her phone beeps. She's startled and so she quickly took her phone from her bedside table, to her surprise a stranger messaged her.
"Huh?" She asked herself ever so curiously ''who are you?" wondering who the person was. She replied to the strangers message, and apparently, they got somewhat close that night. Katherine ended up staying 'till the sun rose.
Days past by with them exchanging messages, and exchanging of each others's time and sleep.
They ended up becoming "chat buddies" and they were each others comfort. She would tell that person a secret, and that person would do the same.
Days, weeks, months past by and they were closer than ever. They were best friends and each others's "vault of secrets".
More time past by and something was weird, Katherine started feeling uneasy, yet happy whenever they would initiate a conversation.
