Chapter 23- Love

(Mina's POV)

Nandito na ko sa labas nang apartment para hintayin si Chaeyoung. It's Saturday at ngayon kami pupunta sa Photo Exhibit nang friend niya. I look at my wrist watch and it's already 8pm.

Bigla namang may kotseng tumigil sa harap ko but instead of Chaeng. Tzuyu and Sana are inside.

"Mina Unnie, Chaeng told me to fetch you dahil may aasikasuhin lang daw siya." Sabi ni Tzuyu at pinagbuksan ako nang pinto ng backseat kaya pumasok na lang ako.

I check my phone and meron ngang text si Chaeng saying that she can't fetch me because she's up to something. Honestly medyo nadissapoint ako kasi akala ko sya ang susundo sakin.

We arrive at JYP University at sa Gymnasium daw yun gaganapin. Naglakad na kami papasok sa University at nang makarating kami sa Gymnasium nagulat ako nang makitang madilim at walang ilaw.

"Sana? Tzuyu?" I called kasi bigla na lang silang nawala sa tabi ko.

"Hindi magandang biro to." I said dahil natatakot ako sa dilim.

Lalabas na sana ako nang gymnasium nang marinig ko ang pamilyar na boses. The voice of the person that I love.

"Don't go Mina." Chaeyoung said pero hindi ko siya makita dahil madilim.

"Chaeng? Where are you? You know Im scared of the dark." I shouted pero hindi na siya nagsalita ulit.

Bigla namang nagkaroon nang ilaw sa may bandang side nang gymnasium kaya lumapit ako dun at nagulat nang makita ang picture ko. I was busy na ilagay yung keychain na penguin sa bag ko, it was a stolen shot. May nakasulat sa baba nung picture.

-Penguins really suits you well just like how you suits perfectly in my heart-

Bigla namang nagkaroon nang ilaw ulit sa katabing side nung picture na yun at may panibagong picture nanaman. It was me sleeping peacefully while hugging my penguin plushie. Just like the first picture may nakasulat din sa baba nito.

-Do you know that you look extremely beautiful when your sleeping? You didn't failed to make my heart beats fast.-

Napangiti ako dahil sa mga nakikita ko ngayon. Naglakad ako sa kabilang side at umilaw nanaman at katulad nang mga nauna may picture at may nakasulat sa baba. Picture ko siya nung nagsasayaw ako nang ballet.

-Just like your moves when dancing my heart can't stay still whenever your around-

Napalingon ako sa likod ko nang doon naman magkaroon nang liwanag kaya naman lumapit ako doon. Picture ko naman siya habang natutulog sa hospital bed, my head is resting on the edge of it.

-You never leave me even in the worst part of my life. So I'm willing to do the same thing- 

Umilaw naman sa kabilang side katabi lang nung isang picture. Picture ko siya habang nagluluto nang pasta at kinuha lang sya nung graduation ni Chaeng.

-Do you know how perfect you are? I can't believe that your mine but I promise to be a better half for you.- 

Hindi ko na napigilan at tuluyan nang pumatak ang luha ko habang nakangiti. My heart is beating fast dahil sa mga nakikita ko. 

Bumukas pa ang maraming ilaw at maraming litrato ang nakapaligid ngayon sakin, lahat yun picture ko. 

"Do you like it love?" Narinig ko ulit ang boses ni Chaeng kaya napangiti ako. 

"I love it!" I shouted at bigla namang bumukas ang ilaw nang buong gymnasium at bumungad sakin ang mga close friends ko. 

Andyan ang buong squad kahit si Momo at Dahyun na inakala kong nasa Japan. Even my parents are here, I can also see Chaeng's parents. Lahat sila nasa gilid nang stage at may isang taong nasa gitna it was Chaeng at nasa likod niya ang pinakamalaking picture ko sa lahat nang picture na nandito. It was my picture on the Amusement park, kung saan ako nakatingin sa sky at nakapikit while smiling. 
This is my favorite picture of you Mina." She said on the microphone at huminga nang malalim.

Nag-umpisa siyang kumanta habang diretsong nakatingin sa mata ko. May hawak-hawak siyang one piece of red rose at unti-unting naglakad palapit sakin habang kumakanta.

Tuluyan na siyang nakalapit sakin at binigay sakin yung red rose na agad ko namang tinanggap. She hold my hand and place it on her shoulder and she wrap her left hand on my waist while the other one is still holding the microphone. I wrap my arms on her nape and we dance in sync while she is singing.

She finish the song and kiss my forehead before she kneel down and place the michrophone on the floor and put out a small box from her pocket.

"Mina, For 2 years that we've been together my love for you didn't even vanished a bit, it actually became more deeper as time goes by. I know that I'm not perfect I have flaws and I might hurt you Unintentionally but one things for sure, I won't leave your side no matter what happened, no matter how hard the situation is. I will be by your side Mina for better or for worse." 

My tears flow from my eyes because of so much happines when she open the small box letting out a shining diamond ring. 

"Will you let me be your other half Mina?" She asked and I immediately nodded. 
Yes, Chaeng. Yes!" Everyone clap their hands and squeal in happiness. 

Chaeyoung immediately stand and put the ring on my ring finger before hugging me tight. 

"Thank you." she whispered and kiss the side of my head. 

We broke the hug and goes to where our parents are. We have a little chit-chat before our parent's say goodbye because they need to continue some business. 

I hug my parents tight before they go because I miss them so much. 

(No One's POV)

The party started on the gymnasium. Sana, Momo, Nayeon and Mina just go to the dance floor and dance happily. While their girlfriends are just watching them. 

"Mina Unnie is really happy." Dahyun said, they are currently drinking some wine while watching their girlfriends.

"That's what I wanted to do. To make her happy." Chaeyoung said.

"When will you propose to Momo?" Jeongyeon asked Dahyun. 

"Soon, I will." she answered.

"How about you Tzuyu?" Chaeyoung asked.

"I was actually planning this month." Tzuyu answered and they just gave her a thumbs up. 

They continue to talk while drinking when Momo called Dahyun Seductively. Momo is already drunk that's why Dahyun decided to take her home. 

"Tzuyu-ya." Sana sat on Tzuyu's lap and kiss Tzuyu passionately but Tzuyu break the kiss because they're on public.
Woah, Sana are you drunk?" Tzuyu asked But Sana just hug her.

"You should get that kid home." Jeongyeon said though she knows what will happen if the two go home.

Tzuyu then say goodbye to them and leave carrying the drunk Sana. 

"Jagiyaaa~" Nayeon then comes out and wrap her arms on Jeongyeons neck.

"Geez. Who told you to get this drunk?" Jeongyeon scolded her wife but carry it nonetheless and say goodbye to Chaeyoung. 

"Take care of her bro." Chaeyoung said and Jeongyeon just nod.

"Chaeyoung-ah~ Let's dance." Mina tried to pull Chaeyoung but fall on Chaeyoung's arms instead because she's drunk And can't stand properly. 

Chaeyoung then let Mina sit and she kneel down holding Mina's hand that is on Mina's lap.

She look at her fiancee lovingly and caress Mina's cheek with her free hand. Mina just hold Chaeyoung' hand and look at Chaeyoung.

"I love you Chaeyoung-ah~" Mina said making Chaeyoung smile widely revealing her dimple.

"I love you more My penguin. Let' s go home now." She carry Mina bridal style and Mina just wrap her arms on Chaeyoung's neck.
