Jolted out of my sleep to the sound of my loud phone ringing on my nightstand and to be honest I'm glad it's my phone, not an extremely obnoxious Liam.
I reach my hand near my phone blindly and pick up the phone not bothering to look at the caller ID.
"Hello" I grumble still half asleep "hey babes are you free later today" I knew Julie enough to know that it wasn't a suggestion.
"Yeah, when and where," I say my voice becoming more alive by the moment slowly gaining more and more consciousness.
"How about at noon and I will figure out where later" she seemed pretty happy cheery which leads me to wonder why but I assume I'd figure it out soon enough.
"Sounds good I'll see you then bye Jul" I used her nickname but before I could press end she said the most predictable thing Julie could say.
"So how's the new boy toy" I chuckled at the absurdity of that question I would hardly call him a boy toy "what's so funny" Julie complains after my nonresponse.
"I'll see you later Julie love you!" before she had the chance to ask another question I'd rather not talk about at this hour I hung up the phone.
Plus I figured I would already have to answer all these questions in a couple of hours so I might as well prepare myself for the onslaught of questions that was definitely soon to come and I knew exactly how too I rolled back over and drifted to sleep for the second time.

Sometime later when I finally rolled myself out of my bed I realized it was still dead silent through the rest of the apartment. wow, I didn't know Liam was capable of being this quite "creepy" I thought to myself.
Before walking to my closet to pick out a pair of ripped high waisted jeans and a Burgundy red cropped hoodie it was the end of October now so I knew there would be a cool breeze so I decided on keeping my outfit warm and cozy. I made my way to my attached bathroom to finish my morning ritual of a shower, brushing my teeth, washing my face, putting light makeup on, and spraying my favorite perfume on my neck and wrist.
Once I was happy with how I looked I walked out of the bathroom and left my room making sure to pick up my phone and other necessary accessories.
Right as I passed the kitchen and put my shoes on I heard a knock on the door I jumped upright heading towards the door already knowing who it was.
Of course, she came to the door not bothering to call or text and I know exactly why. she wanted to get a good look at what she assumes is my future husband or something crazy like that.
As I'm about to reach the door a giant figure come in front of me and started opening it for me I automatically knew that the name of the Towering figure was Liam. looks like Julie got what she wanted but I'm kinda surprised he could be this quiet I hope he keeps it up though I doubted he would.
"Hey!" I say annoyed while trying to get in front of him but he doesn't budge does he think I can't on a door handle "you're practically a brick Liam" I say trying my very best to push him out of the way.
He turns to me grinning with a mischievous glint in his eye he quickly snatches my hand and puts it on his bare chest "I know you like it especially after yesterday's events" asshole
I heard another more impatient knock on the door and a mutter of incoherent words from the other end "like I said it never happened" I say with the tent of a blush starting to devouring my face.
"Nope" I hear him say right beside me I sigh and open the door "hey Juile".
She doesn't even say hi her eyes are skimming the shirtless guy standing next to me I honestly don't blame her at least I know what I looked like when I first met him now.
"Sorry, he has a problem with shirts" I glare up at him "oh that doesn't seem like a problem to me," Julie says not even covering up the fact that she is bluntly flirting.
Liam does nothing but smirk and says "I know right though I don't blame her for having a problem I'm not the one who turns tomato red Every time I'm not wearing a shirt it's embarrassing"
My cheeks immediately turned the definition of tomato red after he said that I immediately walked out the door and closed it roughly he opened it again as I was walking away with a chuckling Julie and said: "see you later princess".
Once we arrived and ordered our food at the small diner Julie picked out called Joe's burger shack Juile got to the point of what I was expecting from this lunch date.
"Lily he's hot and when I say hot I mean hot" I sighed "I never denied he was attractive he's just kinda an ass not kinda actually... he's a total ass".
"Lily can't you see this is how all the movies go one moment you hate him the next moment you're walking down the aisle," she says in a dream-like state I scoff at the absurdity of that this girl needs to snap back to reality.
"I don't hate him I just strongly dislike him that's all and why does everyone seem to think we're gonna end up together it's absurd"
"I get that and I'm not saying he's definitely the one I'm just saying he's hot really hot can you at least agree to that" I roll my eyes.
"Fine he's hot he's really fucking hot okay is that what you wanted" I stated.
A very large grin immediately broke out on Julie's face "SEE I KNEW IT!" she yells out excitedly causing a few heads to turn in are direction "you so like him" she said a bit quieter this time.
"Jul I thought we wear over this" I sigh exasperatedly.
She looks at me eyes bright with enthusiasm "I'll bet you 100 dollars that you will fall in love with him" I looked at her shocked.
If I wasn't awake then I was awake now I automatically reply "deal when does it expire?"enthusiasm dripping from each word.
"1 year" she looked at me smiling like a maniac "I'm so gonna win," she says like it's the most obvious thing.
"You are so wrong" I talk/sing she chuckles "nope," she says popping the P the same way, Liam had done earlier.

I can't believe she actually thinks I'll fall for him no way I laugh to myself on the way back to the apartment absolutely no way.
Or so I thought.
