The Rise Of Titan

CHAPTER ONE: EARTH

It was the year 1945 and James had just left the war in Germany. He was 21 then. This black kid who joined the war for a better cause. Those damn Germans. He had killed so many that he forget the number. He left behind his two brothers and his mother. James Lucas. Yea that's the guy. He was my friend. After the war he came back to Texas and he began to work at the fort David military facility doing guard duty. Somehow this scientist named "Dr.Rudy" had talked him into this "thing"that they were testing. It was highly unstable and it was off the records. Codenamed "titan". A large circular structure that was said to open up this portal to a dimension they called the " titanverse". Sounds crazy right? The files I read indicated that there were beings in that dimension so powerful ..... they wanted to capture one and harvest its power for something far more sinister. Those stupid fuckers think they can harvest anything. Your wondering what James had to do with any of though right? Well James.. they wanted James to enter the other side of this dimension. A test subject... they stuck James to this cable. And they turned on the machine. It made a noise so loud.. it sounded as if a fucking nuke was going off. There was this mist of different colors leading to the other dimension. Somehow the bastards had gotten the structure to stabilize. A win in their book. James slowly approached the mist of different colors and.. walked through it as if he was unfazed. The scientists talked to him on this radio "James what can you see?" The scientists asked. There was no response from James. They looked at each other all scared. The line they had connected to James suddenly pulled and it rugged and began to shake real violently. There was the hallow deep hum coming from that fucking thing and everybody began to panic. "Shut it down now!" Dr.rudy yelled. "It won't turn off! Somethings interfering with the system" another scientist yelled. The room and everything in it began to shake violently as if a earthquake was happening... then BOOM! A blinding white light came from the mist. Everybody covered their eyes and the humming became so deafening you couldn't hear anything but that deafening sound. Then silence... every scientist looked up in horror and guards rushed the room their guns drawn at the now white mist... something was coming through. The line that was attached to James was as now limp on the ground.. something had taken him. Footsteps... boom...boom...boom. Slowly were approaching from this other dimension... a figure stood at the edge. You could see each it's shadow. What as it? It looked as if it were 8 feet tall. Shaped as human. It stuck it's hand through the mist.. it's skin was silver like metal. It had 4 fingers. It was strong. It fully walked through and what we saw... it was a humanoid figure. Made of some type of metal. It had no eyes. It made no noise. The muscles and shape of a strong athletic human never seen before. It stood still. Analyzing everything in the room..... everyone stood still not knowing if it was hostile or what it intentions were. Dr.rudy slowly walked up to the metal humanoid. His hand reaching to touch it. He was mesmerized by the being. His finger touched the humanoids face the suddenly, it's face turned so fast to look at dr. Rudy, it snatched his arm clean off his body! Everyone yelled and screamed. The humanoid kicked dr.rudy into the wall killing him instantly, it's face began to light up as if it were a laser of some kind. It shot a hot liquid killing everything in its path. Body and guts and blood everywhere!!!!! The guards began to shoot at it but the bullets were of no use. The killer humanoid made a screeching noise so piercing it made everyone's ears bleed. Suddenly the humanoids body began to light up then.. BOOM! Everything went black. *dad laughing from telling the gory story and scaring Ryan shitless*. "Dad do you really have to do that?" Ryan asked his dad. "Sorry buddy I had to get you one time" the dad said laughingly. Ryan and his dad sat under the stars at the camp. They came there on the weekends to spend time alone away from the buzz of the city and the mouth of their mom. "You see that son!" The dad pointed. It was a glowing star in the midnight sky.  It glowed bright like it was a far away planet. "It's so bright dad" Ryan said happily. The dad noticed something about the star. It appeared to be moving. "Wait a second" the dad said curiously. The bright figure began to become brighter and brighter as it hurdled towards them. "Son.. son move move move!!! " the dad said while grabbing Ryan by the color of his shirt to yank him and move. "Dad!" Ryan screamed as they ran away from the burning thing and towards the car. "Run Ryan!" The dad screamed! The burning object grew closer and closer and right before it landed on top of them  the dad pushed Ryan out of the way. "DADDDDDDD!" Ryan yelled and the burning object hit the dad. A cloud of dust blew so hard at Ryan he had to cover his eyes. The dust settled. "Dad!!! Dad!!!!!" Ryan yelled. *coughing* Ryan walked wearily towards the burning thing. It was... it was a rock of some kind. "What... what" Ryan said. The rock began to shake. *cracking noise* pieces of the rock began to shatter then BOOM. A wet hand emerged from the rock. Ryan stood in shock as he watched whatever it was come from inside the rock. He stepped back slowly in horror.... it was.. it was... a man.
