💋 Chapter 2 💋

Amanda's POV: 

We drove the rest of the journey in conversation. Until we finally pulled up in the driveway of Alesha's large house. We stepped out of the car and into her house, it was already half past 11, meaning the children should be asleep. We paid the babysitter and Alesha went upstairs to check on the children. I walked into the kitchen and picked up a large packet of popcorn emptying it into a bowl. I poured two glasses of wine, and placed them in the living room. "AMANDA! THE KIDS AREN'T IN THEIR ROOM!" Alesha screamed. WHAT?! I sprinted through the flights of stairs and to the children's room. Three empty beds?! "Oh God Alesha!" I cried. "Search all the rooms" I said, panicking. I went left and Alesha went right entering every room. I frantically searched all my side of rooms, the bathroom, the nursery, the TV room. The final door was Alesha's bedroom. I walked in and to my relief all three children were laying in bed. Azura in the middle of Hollie and Alexa, they were all hugging one another and three smiling peacefully. The covers were on the floor, they must of found it too hot.

"Lesha, you've gotta see this" I whispered from across the corridor. Alesha rushed over to me. "Aww, this makes me wanna cry, they're so cute", she took out her phone and snapped a pic. Alesha wrapped her arm around shoulder. "A whole week withought, these angels, you ready for it?!" Alesha asked. "Yeah, I think so, Im gonna miss them so much, but more time with you, I'm down, plus they'll have fun with Eric and Alfie, they haven't seen them in a while, you know how excited they are for that sleepover" I said. "Almost as excited as David and Simon" Alesha joked. "They'll take care of our babies" I giggled. "Watch a film?" I asked "Always"

We both dressd in our nightwear, I changed into my pyjama shorts and spaghetti strap vest, Amanda wore an oversized t-shirt and we sat on the large couch, Alesha turned on my favourite film, Frozen. I rested my head and her shoulder and she put her arm around my waist pulling me closer to her. She kissed the top of my head gently as we watched the film. "I love you Mandy" she whispered. My hand travelled up her t-shirt and caressed her stomach. I looked up at her and smiled, she smiled back and let out a little chuckle, before taking a sip of her wine. When the film finished, we headed upstairs to go to sleep. "Well you can't sleep in your bed... for obvious reasons, sleep in mine!" I insisted. I had a room in Alesha's house, because I stayed at hers all the time, and my daughters shared a room with Azura hence why there are three beds in the kids room.

I had a double bed in my room, so it would fit both of us. I crawled into bed while Ali brushed her teeth. I smiled at her as she joined me in bed, she laid down so that we were facing each other. "I know I've said it over and over again now, but I really can't wait for this vacation, because it's the first one, just me and you, we've been with David and Simon and the kids before, but I've never gone with my best friend" I said, staring into Alesha's eyes. She looked back at me, making direct eye contact, I could feel her warm breath on my face as we were so close. She tapped my nose with her finger and scrunched up her face adorably, she blew me a kiss, before tucking a lose strand of her behind my ears. "I can't wait either" she whispered, interlocking her hand with mine. She yawned quietly and rubbed her eyes with her free hand "Good Night darling" She spoke. "Goodnight" I said kissing the back of her hand. 

Alesha's POV:

I woke up to the sound of laughing, "mwah mwah" my daughter's recognisable voice. "I love you" giggled Holly. My hand still linked with Amanda, our foreheads touching, I also realised our legs had made their way to each other, our bare legs wrapped around each other. I saw past Amanda's slim body and to the floor were the duvet lay, we had probably kicked it off during the night, just like the children. Suddenly her eyes fluttered open, she opened her mouth to speak but I quickly covered it. She gave me a confused look as we both overheard our daughter's conversation from the nursery next door. "You may now kiss" Lexi declared, putting on a deep voice. This was followed by a series of kissing sounds made by Azura and Lexi. "I love you, I love you, I love you" Azura squealed in her high pitched voice. I grabbed Mandy's hand and we tiptoed to the nursery, "Okay, we're gonna burst in... 3... 2...1" 

Amanda and I ran into the nursery "What are you doing?" I said loudly, making the three children jump. They quickly hid the dolls they were holding behind their backs. "Nothing mama!" Lexi said innocently.  "I don't think theyre doing nothing Ali" Amanda said, shaking her head. She suddenly started tickling Lexi making her drop the doll. I did the same to Hollie and Azura and reached behind them snatching the dolls. I revealed two dolls both in white gowns, one with fair skin, and the other with darker skin. And Amanda held up a Ken doll, in a suit. "What do we have here then?"Amanda said, raising an eyebrow at the three girls, who were giggling nervously. "Its Manda and my moms wedding" Azura blurted out. Both Hollie and Lexi quickly covered her mouth. "Zura!!!" Hollie wailed. "You weren't meant to tell them!" She continued. All three of the girls blushing profusely. Of course Amanda and I had figured that out a while ago. "Oh, our wedding huh? Why would we be getting married?" Amanda said sternly, before looking over at me and winking. I was trying desperately hard not to burst out laughing, my lip was starting to hurt beacuse I was biting it hard, not to let a chuckle escape. "We saw you guys in Lesha's bed, you looked like you love each other, Lexi said that's what couples look like" Hollie answered.  "Also, in princess films, they hold hands and kiss a lot. Manda kisses my mommy and she likes to hold my mommy's hand" Azura added. "And.. and .. I have another one, you say you love each other all the time,  my mama says that to Lesha almost as much as she says it to me" Hollie said, excitedly. I hadn't thought about that before actually. "Well, um, no me and Alesha are just best freinds, you see like you two you hold hands because your best freinds, does that mean you wanna marry each other?" Amanda explained. Hollie and Azura turned to each other and laughed. "NOO!". "Have you ever kissed Alesha mama? Like on the lips" Lexi asked. 

Oh my God! The questions the kids were asking. Amanda turned to me and sighed. I mean we had, but just friendly pecks on the lips. "Yes, but not in a lovey dovey way" Amanda replied truthfully. "How do you kiss on the lips but not in a lovey dovey way?" Hollie and Azura asked, confused. They both looked at each other an shrugged. "Like this!" I stated, pulling Amanda and kissing her lips repeatedly, not in a sexual way, as I didn't want to give the kids the wrong image. Azura and Hollie squealed part excited and part disgusted. "Ew, you really had to do that! Stop pleasee!" Alexa squirmed. Amanda and I just laughed at the children's reactions. "What were you saying Lex?" Amanda said, pressing our lips together once more. "Anyway I need to go do a few things before we leave" Amanda said, heading to the door. "Ah ah, not so fast! I said, running up to Amanda and picking her up from her waist and spinning her around before adjusting my hands so I was picking her up bridal style. I kissed her on the cheek "Your mine baby" I exclaimed, purposley annoying Alexa. She rolled her eyes and made gagging sounds. "Mummy! Am I not your baby?" Azura exclaimed tugging my shorts, Hollie standing beside her I put Amanda down and swung my daughter over my shoulders. "Of course your my baby" I giggled. Azura waved at Hollie, who was staring at me and Azura innocently. "And you, Hollie! Your my baby too I said, heaving the 7 year old who wrapped her legs onto the side if my hips. "Your all my babies!" I declared, wrapping my arm around Amanda's waist. "You too Lexi" I said, a with that she came running into the hug. "Aw, my perfect family" Amanda said, kissing all of us.
