Lucy began the battle by using Rain Dance. Suddenly, heavy rain began to pour down from above. Black Kyurem scoffed and used Freeze Shock, which took away a good portion of Lucy's HP. Lucy retaliated with Hydro Pump, which did a little damage to the Black Kyurem. Black Kyurem then used Fusion Bolt on Lucy. Lucy was very close to fainting, so she dragged herself to where Terrence and I were standing. "Terrence... Diane..." she said. "Please... one of you... take over for me."
"Will do." Terrence said.
He stepped into battle, and the rain suddenly stopped because of his Drought ability. He then used Precipice Blades, which damaged the Black Kyurem significantly more than Lucy's Hydro Pump did to it. Black Kyurem then used Light Screen to raise its defensive capabilities. "Clever." I said to myself.
Terrence then used Eruption, which also did a significant amount of damage to the Black Kyurem. By now, it was at a third of its original HP. Infuriated, Black Kyurem used Freeze Shock on Terrence, which knocked him out in one hit.
"TERRENCE!" I exclaimed as I saw him faint. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Fuming with rage, I ran into battle and immediately used Aura Sphere on Black Kyurem. This reduced its HP, but did not faint it. It used Dragon Pulse on me in retaliation, and I lost nearly half of my HP in the burning beam of energy. But I would not be taken down so easily. Taking a deep breath in, I unleashed an all-out Roar of Time attack. The time-distorting move was enough to take down the Black Kyurem once and for all.
As I watched Black Kyurem fall to the ground, I transformed back into my human form. Once I did, I removed the DNA Splicers from Black Kyurem's arm. Once I did, a ball of light began to form, enveloping Black Kyurem. The light rose into the sky and split into two figures- a Zekrom and a Kyurem- and these two figures shrunk down and transformed into humans. As the light dimmed, Kylie and Zeke's limp bodies fell to the ground.
At the moment, however, I was more concerned about Terrence. He had retreated back into his human form- as demi-legendaries do when they are defeated while in their Pokémon form- and was lying unconscious on the ground. I rushed over to him, and held his head in my hands.
"Terrence, please! Wake up!" I exclaimed as I shook him vigorously. Tears formed in my eyes, hardening into diamonds as they rolled down my cheeks. Then, Terrence's eyes began to open.
"...Diane...?" he said as he awoke.
"Terrence! You're alright!" I exclaimed gleefully, as I embraced him tightly. Terrence returned the embrace, and once I let go, he looked straight at me.
"I'm so glad to see you care about me, Diane." he said. "But don't worry. I'm completely fine."
As I was ready to go deal with Zeke and Kylie, Lucy, who had also transformed back into her human form, tackle-hugged me. "Diane! You did such a good job out there!" she exclaimed.
"Thank you so much, Lucy!" I replied. "However, I really have to deal with Zeke and Kylie right now, so can we save the festivities for later?"
"Alright." Lucy replied, as she let go of me.
I walked over to Zeke and Kylie, who were still unconscious. Then, before I could wake either of them up, thunder rumbled in the distance. Dark storm clouds appeared over Camp Arceus, and a bolt of lightning struck near Zeke, waking him up. Then, Zekrom emerged from within the clouds, looking directly at Zeke with a furious expression.
"ZECHARIAH JOVE BLACK!" he said, with a booming, thunderous voice. Zeke jolted upwards.
"Y-yes, Father?" he replied, obviously shaken.
