My sister and I were rather close growing up, we use to share everything when we were younger, clothes, shoes, toys, now grown up and well into our late teens, early twenties we have now become accustomed to sharing each other's expensive makeup, I use the term 'we' loosely.

My sister was that girl who had everything, she was super beautiful, smart, talented, she had a great job and the most amazing boyfriend anyone could ever ask for. To the world my sister was in one simple word 'perfect' to me on the other hand she was far from it.

Megan had been with Michael for just over a year, and for half of that relationship she had been cheating on him with this guy from her university dorm named Luke, I'd caught them at it when I came home from college early, not a pretty sight might I add. Since then she told me to keep quiet, and this whole keeping silent stuff is horrible, I am totally guilt ridden because of it since me and Michael are really close friends.

And that's where I am currently, with Michael on the sofa at his place watching TV. Staring blankly at the screen while the guilt eats me from the inside out. "Hey Kayla can I ask a question...it's about your sister" he asks muting the volume on the TV before facing me, I tried to remain composed and not let him catch on that anything was wrong.

"Yeah shoot, what's up?"

"I know this might sound a little personal but is Megan okay? We haven't spoken properly in a few days I know she's got stuff to do for uni but she normally comes home over the holidays I don't know what she's staying there for" he looked really confused and a little upset, more confused from the look on his face, this would have been a perfect opportunity to let the hypothetical cat out of the hypothetical bag so to speak, but I don't think I could have done it. "We haven't been intimate in over three months, and I think I'm losing feelings for her" now he looked sad.

Oh yeah I may have forgotten to mention that I have a kind of huge crush on him, which doesn't help matters at all. "you probably haven't, you haven't seen her in weeks" I force out, trying to be positive for him

"See that's just it, I know I've lost all feelings for her, there's someone else" he frowns WHAT!

"Someone else?"

"I know it's not fair on her, she's been busy" she certainly has "but I can't deny my feelings anymore"

"Whoever she is I'm sure-" my words where cut off mid sentence, his lips crash to mine and my mind raced a thousand times a minute...
