Preface

Hello, reader! I would like to begin this tale by first thanking you for giving Time & Tragedy a chance at the expense of your precious time. This tale is the finalization of two former unrefined products that I didn't have the chance to work on due to other projects being pursued. However, Time & Tragedy will remain as it is and will be serialized into chapters and--if needed--several 'books'. A more detailed explanation of the plot will be stated below:

Darkness has lent the stage and fate speaks. A land chosen to suffer betrayal and a girl whose heart will bear the torch.

Two years ago, the Kingdom of Sonata aimed to secure a lasting peace with the nation of Ephemeris, ending a four year long war. Located at Sonata's edge, the town of Vessel was the intended location to sign the treaty of peace. Unbeknownst to Sonata, the town was a staging ground for a direct invasion past the Sonatan war machine and into the nation's heart. Having lost her hometown to the Ephemerian attack, young Coraline Ilanterna would become the chosen torch to protect the people of Sonata.

The dark clouds of war blacken her torch yet the fate lives on.

With the First Unification broken, the world's bind to peace would fall, and the entire world is at war. Now the girl will rise, beginning the dawn of a new era.

So shall the tale begin.
