That Feeling Called Love

Prologue

"I like this one." The sound of Thor's deep voice break the silence between him and the new girl: Rhodes named her. Giving a small smile to her and Natasha who was quite happy to see her friend smiles again after he keep repeating to his self that it's his fault, that he didn't stop the snap.

"You already have a good first impression." Steve smiles at Carol but later on after he look at the pictures of the other members: who was victim of the snap, he frown as he narrowed his eyes.

"Let's get this son of a b*tch." He muttered but loudly enough for the others to hear.

'Language.' That's what on the other Avengers mind after their Captain curse in front of them expect the new ones.

"Whatever it takes?" Natasha said as she look at Steve who look at her nodding.

"Whatever it takes." He repeated.

"Wait, is there someone know where that purple titan lives?" Rocket asked making them all look at him and think about it, suddenly—it clicked to them.

"Don't worry, I'm his daughter after all...he said that if he was successful dusting the half of the living creatures, he will live a peaceful life in a planet." The robotic voice of Nebula put a relief in their chest as they gave her a thankful look.

"We know the location, aren't we going now?" Carol said.

"We will." Steve said as they went to their rooms to suit up.

As Carol was about to leave too, Thor called her making her turned around to look at him with confusion shinning in her brown eyes.

"Be careful." He muttered but still loud for Carol to hear giving him a look.

"Okay?" She said more than a question and bid a goodbye to the Demi-God who was also confuse at what he just said.

Carol's POV

As soon as I left Thor alone, I'm quite confuse why he said that...maybe, he can see my future or what. But never mind that, I sighed shaking my head as I open the door of the room Rogers just said that I was gonna stay in and I'm pretty amaze at the decorations...it simple and modern.

I smile and I feel warm inside even the world is in a situation we didn't thought it will come.

"Do you like your room?" my hand glowed as I pointed it to the person who was on the door but quickly put it down as the glow disappear.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as i completely have a sight of the person who was about to get blasted by my power.

Thor Odinson

"Is it bad to give a normal welcome for a person who was new here." He said as he signal me if he can come in which I answered a nod.

"No it's not." I said sitting at the bed as I look down, sighing.

"Is there any problem you wanna talk to?" He asked softly making me look up and see him sitting besides me.

"I'm fine, getting the news of how the half of the living creatures turned into dust without me witnessing it. I'm totally fine." I said massaging my temple.

"You know, it hurts to see a friends or close ones getting dusted." Thor said making me look at him again and frown as I notice the pain in his eyes. So, I do what Fury do when I was talking about my past.

I embrace him letting him know that everything will be back to normal. At first, he tensed up at my sudden hug but I feel that he looses it up as I suddenly feel a shiver when he wrap his arms around me putting his head on my shoulder while I'm softly panting his back.

"And it's my fault that Thanos get all the stones. I should've gone for the head." He whisper and the pain that I see in his eyes was now also in his deep voice.

"I know that the others didn't think that it's your fault, so don't make that a weakness. They need you, so be there for them." I reassuring tightening the hug.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, after all I'm a new member." I said chuckling.
